Faith is the number one attribute that God is looking for. In this lesson, we will see how the father of the faithful is seen in the eyes of God and what he does to show that. What God is looking for in Abraham’s life is what He is looking for in our lives. In this lesson, we demonstrate different examples that we can use to know how to connect and begin that relationship with God.

[00:00:02] I'm Rich Young iii and this is an amazing thing. [00:00:18] I am here to facilitate learning the word of God on a fundamental level. [00:00:24] So join me and let's grow together and build a relationship with our Creator. [00:00:30] And that starts now. [00:00:39] Hello everyone and welcome to an amazing thing. Thank you for joining me today. This is our midweek show where it's our continual Bible study day. [00:00:49] And this is learning the Word of God in the Beginning, number six. And this is entitled what Does God Want with Me? And so we're going to take some time to express the importance of faith to God and should be to us the importance of what that is as we go forth in in this lesson and future lessons. Faith is going to be the number one attribute that God is looking for. Here. [00:01:14] God has given us an instruction book to let us know what it is he's looking for in our lives. And that instruction book is called the Bible. [00:01:23] The human being is too important not to give us a manual to know what is expected of us and to build a relationship with our Creator. [00:01:34] Sometimes in our own minds we require God to jump through hoops in order to show to prove his existence and what he has designated for our own, for our lives and for humankind. [00:01:48] So the importance is what God thinks it is. And that's where we should strive to understand, grow to know. [00:01:57] Everything that God has for me as well as humankind can be found in His Word. And so that is going to be the basis of any human being to know what God is looking for. Sometimes we have to mature more order to understand what God is trying to show us. And sometimes simple obedience to God's Word is what he is looking for to proceed in growing of that relationship. The Bible says that they that do have truth cometh to the light. [00:02:35] So sometimes it requires us to do something to show that we believe before God can grow, continue to work with us and mold those things in us. [00:02:45] As we're continuing through these lessons, the life of Abraham is going to be important, especially in this lesson. Abraham is known as the father of the faithful. Abraham is known as the father of the physical people upon the earth, the Jews as well as the spiritual people upon the earth, the church. And so Abraham is the father of the faithful. The story of Abraham is faith. [00:03:16] And without faith or belief, it is impossible to please God. [00:03:22] In particular case, belief and faith is the same word as I just stated here. [00:03:27] So with that belief, it's impossible to please God. [00:03:31] The person that comes to God must first believe that he is. That's number one. And this number two is to know that he's a rewarder of those that diligently see him, not that digitally haphazardly sees him or some nonchalantly seeks him diligently. And so that's a very, very important thing to God as well, that we want to have that relationship with Him. [00:04:00] Then the greatest thing any of us can do in building our relationship is to believe. [00:04:05] Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. And those are things that are said over and over and over in the word of God. So that's something that's very, very important to God. And believing God is a choice. [00:04:19] You know, a lot of times we look at things like that and think it's a chemical reaction of some sort. Well, I just didn't believe it, as if we're off the hook. [00:04:29] But there is a responsibility that we have as human beings to believe God. [00:04:37] And as human beings, we have to come through to the conclusion that even if I don't believe something, I'm still responsible for that truth in my life. [00:04:48] You know, and we live in a time now where we have been able to not believe something and get away with it. [00:04:56] But when we deal with the human being, our relationship with God is the most important relationship we can have. I certainly want to be in a position to where I can continue to grow their relationship with God and be pleasing to him and build that relationship. [00:05:12] It's a wrong conclusion to come to a conclusion that if I don't believe it, I'm off the hook. God shows us that belief is a decision that we make. [00:05:23] The truth is the truth, whether I believe it or not. [00:05:27] And so that's a very, very serious thing that we have to understand. [00:05:32] Let's read this. This is Revelation, chapter 21, verse 8. [00:05:36] But the fearful, the unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. [00:05:54] So God puts unbelief up there with murder and idolatry and all these other terrible, terrible sins. [00:06:02] So the first step toward God is to believe him diligently seeking him and to determine what physical action goes along with me believing him. Because, you know, the Bible says that belief without a work is dead being alone. And we're going to study that more as we go through these lessons too. [00:06:21] So some, some human reasoning tells us if I decide not to believe this, then I'm not responsible for Those consequences like we just talked about. And so that is a very, very wrong conclusion to come to. And some of the conclusions that reasonable people have, you know, have come to with that. And we can be condemned for what we decide not to believe. [00:06:49] And so I'm going to really, really try to drive that point home, because it is a very, very important thing. So learning to love the truth is a very, very important decision that we have to make, even if it goes against some of our traditions, even if I don't agree with it. [00:07:08] Because a lot of our agreement with something comes from the culture and the traditions and all those things that we grew up in. And that's how we determine what is right and what is wrong. So from this point on where we're here studying these lessons, so we have to make the Bible the basis of true belief in what we should believe in. This is Genesis, chapter 22, verses 1 and 2. [00:07:35] And it came to pass that after these things that God did tempt Abraham and said unto him, abraham. And he said, behold, here am I. And he asked, I'm sorry. And he said, take now thy son Isaac, thine only son whom thou lovest, and get thee unto the land of Moriah, and offer him there a burnt offering unto me upon the mountains in which I will tell thee of. Sorry again, that's a poor reading of this, but you get the gist of what it is. Take your son, your only son, Isaac, up to Mariah and offer him a burnt sacrifice. [00:08:16] Now, this is obedience test, along with some other things that we should know when we deal with God now and. And the test that he'll put upon us and what these things mean. I doubt today that God would tell us to go and kill a child or something like that. But we have the written word explaining these things to us. [00:08:35] Is Abraham going to obey God or is he going to disobey God? [00:08:40] God shows the place where this thing was to take place. Mariah. And we know that Mariah is where the Temple Mount is located today. So even way back, 4,000 years ago, from our perspective, God knew what he was going to do hundreds of years from the time that he asked Abraham. This. This is 2nd Chronicles, chapter 3, verse 1. Reread this to get a sense of what this place means to God. Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place where David had prepared the threshing floor of ornament, the Jebusite. [00:09:22] So David had prepared all the materials Solomon built the temple here, and the place is Mount Moriah. And that's where the Temple Mount is located. There in it, anything we get closer to us than God, God is going to ask for that. In this case, it was an extreme example that God is giving to us. Sometimes it's things that God asked for because God has to be number one in our lives or he will not be anything at all. He's not going to force us, but you have to choose to make him number one. And anything that you have in your life that is more important to God than he is, he's going to ask for that thing. And that's what this is an example of. [00:10:05] And so the place continued to be a part of God's plan. God is not just haphazardly deciding these things, but he knew he had a plan for that particular place along before the temple was built. The first temple or the second temple was built there. [00:10:22] Isaac at this point had become closer to God than than God was. And so we can't allow the blessings that God gives us to become closer to God than our relationship with him. God may bless us with wonderful things, a wonderful business, a wonderful home, a wonderful career or whatever, but if God asks for that thing, you have to be willing to give it up. [00:10:46] And so that's what God is showing us here, dealing with this. [00:10:50] This is Genesis, chapter 22, verse 5. [00:10:53] And Abram said unto his young men that were there with them, abide here with the ass. [00:11:02] And I and the lad will go yonder to worship and come to you again. [00:11:08] Now, nobody knows what God has told Abraham but Abraham. [00:11:12] But Abraham is showing faith in everything he does. What did he say? I am the lad and we'll come back. Now he knows God told him to go over Isaac, but he says we'll come back. So Abraham said, we will go and we will return. [00:11:26] Abraham had a promise from God that in Isaac, all of your seed is going to be blessed. [00:11:33] Well, if all of the earth is going to be blessed through my seed, Isaac, this can't be the end of him. [00:11:40] So God says, this is through the world is going to be blessed through Isaac. Well, God is either going to stop me, bring him back from the dead, or some other plan that I cannot foresee. But I know this can't be the end of Isaac because God has given me a promise. And we have to know that in our relationships with God, a promise is the most from God is the most important thing that we can have. [00:12:06] I heard a powerful man of God say, one Time that a promise from God is more worth more than a bank account. It's worth more than a promising career is worth more than any of those things. [00:12:17] And so we have to learn to understand that. So Abraham knew that either God will. Will raise him from the dead or stop me before he does it, before I do it, because I have a promise from him. [00:12:29] And so God will provide. This is Genesis, chapter 22, verses 7 and 8. [00:12:35] And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said, behold, father, and the wood. [00:12:41] But where is the lamb for the burn off when we get the wood and the fire? [00:12:46] Well, where's the lamb for the burn offering is what he's asking. And Abraham said, my son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering. [00:12:55] Now we know that Abraham probably doesn't know the importance of what he's saying here also, although it's true God is going to provide that. But we will learn from this time to what, 2,000 years from this time that God does provide himself a lamb for the sack for his sacrifice. And so Abraham did not waver. [00:13:18] And God gave him instructions he's going to follow through. [00:13:22] Abraham had a promise from God through Isaac. All the world is going to be blessed. [00:13:28] So I'm gonna have to persevere through all of this. In the scripture, God will provide himself a sacrifice, which was a foreshadowing of the Messiah that would come. So all these things are tying together, and it's a whole lot more than Abraham can see at this time. But Abraham's faith is what is carrying him through. So we refer back to this, this description in future lessons of what Abraham meant when he said, God will provide himself a sacrifice. Here Abraham passes the test. Abraham proceeds with a sacrifice. He raises that knife above Isaac and let's just read it. This is Genesis 22:12. And he said, lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do anything to him. So God stops him before he's bringing that knife down. [00:14:15] For now I know thou fearest God, seeing that not thou has not withheld from me thine only son. Now, this is the. The second time God has referred to Isaac as. As his only son. Now we know in a few lessons back, Abraham had Ishmael. [00:14:34] But God sees Ishmael as a physical thing. They decided themselves to help God out. [00:14:43] Abra, Ishmael is born. But that was never God's plan. [00:14:47] And so through this, just the way that this is stated in the word of God, the spiritual always takes precedence over the physical. [00:14:57] So Isaac is the spiritually promised seed that takes precedence over the physical seed. And so that's what it is here. So God stops Abraham as he proceeds with the sacrifice. [00:15:11] God will always ask us for the thing we love more than him. [00:15:16] So if God is asking you for something, you have to ask yourself, is this something that is that I love more than God or is this something that is going to interfere with my walk with God in my life? [00:15:27] God always asks us for that thing that we love more than him. Remember, what God wants from Abraham is the same thing he wants from us. So as we build our relationship with God, we can look back at the relationship that God had with Abraham and others. And we can know from those things in the word of God what God wants from us. So we can't have the faith of Abraham without going through some of the tests that Abraham went through. Now like I said before, it's not going to be this extreme, but it is certainly going to be test that we're going to have to withstand in order to proceed so that we can graduate and go on to the next grade where God has more things to show us. Because you got to remember, God is preparing us for the kingdom of God. And so we have to get from this very, very deep fallen state that we're discussing here to back to where we can be sons of God once again. And that's what we're striving for. [00:16:25] True faith always produces a corresponding work. [00:16:29] So belief without a work is there being alone. [00:16:33] So that's where we are here. [00:16:39] Sarah and Abraham's burial place here. So this is is Sarah is died now. So this is Genesis chapter 23, verse 19. Now we're jumping right here so we can hit strategic places in the word of God so that we can gain as much as we can here. [00:16:57] And after this, Abraham buried Sarah, his wife, the cave of Machpelah before Mamre, the same as Hebron in the land of Canaan. So we know that Abraham bought this place from the sons of half the Bible says and it's the cave of Machpelah before Mamre. And that's in in Hebron is where that's located. And that's where all of the matriarchs and patriarchs are buried there. [00:17:25] So we know way back 4,000 years ago, Abraham purchased this land from these people. And so that was the burying place of of Sarah at this time and will be the rest of the patriarchs. Abraham purchased this cave from the sons of Head which would become the burial place of the root of the Jewish people. And they that's A very, very valuable place for the, for the Jewish people because Abraham and Sarah are buried there. [00:17:54] Abraham knows now that Isaac is getting. He's already has a broken heart, has lost his mother. So it's time for him to have a wife. So Abraham calls his most trusted servant for this task to seek a wife for Isaac. [00:18:13] And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites. When he says this, these, these are heathen people. Abraham is not a heathen person, which is one of the reasons God did start to deal with him in the first place. Among whom I dwell. But thou shalt not. I'm sorry, thou shalt go into my country where Abraham from back in, in Haran and unto my kindred take a wife unto my son. [00:18:48] So we learned that the two most important things in our relationship with God is our relationship with who I, who we worship is God and who we marry because those two things are, are the rock of what our relationships are. [00:19:04] And we don't want to join ourselves with unbelieving people and hedonistic type things. And we're going to learn more about this as we enter into the church age. But at this time here, these are he heathenistic people. And we know that, you know, when you adjoin with someone you will learn their ways is what the Bible says. So and it's very easy to get caught up in that. Next thing you know, you worship in something that you never would worship to keep peace in the house. And so this is what this is here. And, and Abraham caused his most trusted servant to go and take on this thing for him. So Abraham's relatives are the least hedonistic of this region. So they had some things wrong with them, but at least they're not as hedonistic as the other people in the place around here. So Abraham's servant proceeds to Abraham's family to, to find a wife for Isaac and he goes there. [00:20:04] When he gets there, he puts his fleece before the Lord. What he does is he prays. Obviously God is going to answer this man's prayer because when God made a covenant with Abraham, the covenant applied to Abraham's servants. They were circumcised just, just as Abraham was. They worshiped the same God that Abraham was. I. They would probably wouldn't be. This certainly wouldn't be someone that Abraham would send the final a wife for his son. [00:20:32] So he gets to the place around where Abraham Tells him it is. [00:20:38] He doesn't know these people. They won't recognize him. So he starts to pray to Abraham's God, lord, if you will send the woman out here that you want to be the wife for my masters, Isaac. [00:20:52] And I need to know that it's the right one. [00:20:57] When a young lady comes out here, I'm going to ask her for a drink of water. [00:21:01] Well, obviously, you don't just go and start going into somebody's will and start drinking their water, because to a desert, people like these are. Water is a very, very important resource. So he didn't just go down and give him a drink. He had to wait to get permission to get a drink from somebody. And he says, and a lot of times the job of the young women of the, you know, women couldn't go out and do the same work that men did. But one thing they could do was. Was water the stock. [00:21:29] And so he says, when a young lady comes out here, I say, give me a drink. And if she says, I'll give you a drink, and I'll give your animals drink too, I'll know that that's the one you want for him. And so he puts his fleece. And then a young lady comes out and does that very thing. And he says, I'm looking for these people. And she says, that's my people. And then obviously, he knows he's at the right place. And he acknowledges that God has answered his prayer. And God did answer his prayer, and that's Rebecca. And she became the wife of. [00:22:00] Of Isaac. So he finds Rebecca. She's the sister of Laban. Now, Laban is going to become important in this story in the future. [00:22:07] And so once he goes back, he explains that Abraham has sent me. They know who Abraham is. And he says, God has blessed Abraham, and he's become very wealthy, and he gives them. He said, also, he sent you all these gifts, some very, very valuable gifts. And they take the gifts. And he says, I put my fleece before the Lord. And Rebecca came out. And so I would like to take her back to be Isaac's wife. Now you get a guy showing up at somebody's house, I'm gonna take your daughter back with me. And then they say, well, give us some time to get used to this. You know, in Rebecca steps up, I'll go, I'll go. And so that's kind of an amazing situation. And that's a. A similar situation to what happened in my own life a little bit. [00:22:55] This is Genesis, chapter 23, verses 8, 9. [00:23:00] Then well, let me sit. So they go back now and. And Rebecca becomes Isaac wife. Everything works out great in that. Okay, I'm going to read the scripture here. Then Abraham gave up the ghost and died at a good old age. An old man full of years. [00:23:14] And he gathered his people and his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah. So that same cave that he purchased from the sons of Health and buried Sarah there. Now Abraham is going to be buried there as well. [00:23:29] And Isaac and Ishmael buried him. [00:23:33] They were able to put aside their differences and come together to bury their father. [00:23:40] Abraham was buried there with Sarah in the cave of Macpillah in Hebron. So that's still there. That cave is still there. And the people there today know where that is. [00:23:50] Okay, then. Now we move on in the story here. Esau and Jacob are born. Now they're twins. Now Isaac and Rebecca are having children now. And the Lord said unto Rebecca, now Rebecca's pregnant, and the Lord is speaking to her about the, the, the. The children she's going to have. There are two nations in thy womb. And two manners of people shall be separated from thy vowels. [00:24:19] And the one people shall be stronger than the other people. [00:24:24] And the elder shall serve the. The younger. Now Rebecca is pregnant with twins here. [00:24:32] Esau is the firstborn. [00:24:35] So all the rights belong to the firstborn of the family. He gets usually twice as much of a portion of. Of the. [00:24:44] Of the inheritance, you know, the twice as much of the land and the different kinds of things. [00:24:50] Also he's known as the priest of the family. So he somewhat tells the family what to do even when they grow up. He's still the patriarch of the family and kind of control those things. [00:25:00] So those are the blessings that belong to the firstborn. [00:25:04] Jacob is the second born even from the womb. He's trying to take his brother out of. [00:25:11] Out of his proper place by grabbing him and trying to supplant him when they come out. He was trying to come out first, but he just couldn't do it. And he was grabbing his brother's heel. [00:25:23] And so, so he was trying to displace his brother. And that is what the name Jacob means. He'll grab or displace, displacer, trickster and that sort of thing here. [00:25:36] So he came out, they named him that Isaac and Rebecca named him Jacob because the name means he'll grabbers of planters. I just said before. [00:25:47] So throughout Jacob's life that has become kind of who. What he was known for because he desired the position of the firstborn of the family. [00:25:57] He wanted to be the firstborn and have all those kinds of things. He wanted the. To be the priest of the family. He. I don't necessarily see any evidence that he wanted the twice as much of the inheritance. But what he did want was that relationship with God, as we all see here. [00:26:13] And so we see that in Esau had the birthright. And as he grew up, he didn't value those things. He'd rather go hunting and fishing than he would to. To learn about God who had made the covenant with his father and his grandfather. [00:26:30] So I would imagine that Jacob hung around, was asking questions about Isaac's relationship with God. What did granddaddy Abraham say when that happened? And all those kinds of things, which certainly shows us about a desire and diligently seeking something. [00:26:47] So that was one of the things that Jacob had that. [00:26:54] That God really liked. He liked the fact that he desired a relationship with me. But I don't like the fact that you're willing to do anything crooked to get it. And so God is going to have to remove him from that. [00:27:08] And so Esau, which these things didn't really necessarily mean anything to him, sells his birthright. And so but he, you know, he. Temporal things meant something to Esau. We'll see that through what he did. The Bible teaches us what we do determines what we believe. That's why God connects faith and work and works together. Belief and works. [00:27:36] Show what you believe in. Well, everything that we see about Esau shows that he was a temporal world loving person. As we see that this is Genesis 25:31 33. And Jacob said, sell me this day, thy birthright. And Esau said, behold, I am at the point to die. [00:27:57] And what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, swear to me this day. And he swear unto him. And he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Now let me set this up here. Esau has been hunting. He was a hunter who loved those kinds of things. And he was hunting obviously got displaced and without. And got lost and stayed at the longer than he anticipated. Maybe get lost, maybe whatever happened, he was chasing the prey and lost his way. But he stayed out so long he. And he comes back, he's almost starving. And so he comes back and he lose. He as he. As he's lost track of time, he gets back and just as Jacob is preparing some, some pottage, some porridge and some. I heard a preacher said one time, you know, the Bible talks cause it lentils and he Says just beans and cornbread was all it was. [00:28:49] And so he did that and he, he said, this birthright is not going to do anything to me. Ah, birthright, give me the beans. And I you can have it. And that's what happens here. So Esau, so the eternal things, which means everything in this relationship between God and Abraham, Isaac, and now we should be esau, but now Jacob, so Esau. So the eternal things for temporary things. [00:29:19] And that's a very, very sorry state of affairs if you really, really look at it. So things are that are temporal. The Bible uses the word temporal from time to time. [00:29:29] That word means temporary. Anything we can see is temporary. [00:29:33] The eternal things we cannot see. [00:29:36] So, you know, we really can't see a lot of spiritual things. We see the, the effect of them, the result of them, but we can't see them. But spiritual things are things that, that go on forever here. [00:29:50] So God confirms his covenant once again with Isaac. Now we know that God is gave his covenant with Abraham way back in Genesis 15. [00:29:59] We know now that God is, he's already given, made his covenant with, with, with Isaac. Now he's going to reaffirm it with Isaac. This shows us too that God's covenant did not go through Ishmael. [00:30:13] It came through the spiritual promise of this. This is Genesis 26, 3 and 4. [00:30:19] Sir John, in this land I'm going to show you a portion of, of his confirmation. [00:30:24] And I will be with thee and will bless thee. For unto thee and unto thy seed I will give thee all these countries. And I will perform an oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father. And I will make thy seed multiply as the stars of heaven and will give unto thee thy seeds all these countries. [00:30:47] And unto thy seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed. So now Abraham's promise has become Isaac's promise. And so we know that God doesn't just want a relationship with our parents, he wants a relationship with us as well. [00:31:07] You know, we, we say sometimes how God had a relationship with grandma, somebody had a race. What was that do to. For us that my grandmother had a great relationship or, or some other relative had a great relationship. God wants a relationship with us. [00:31:24] And time and chance comes to all. And so God wants us to be able to, to for this promise and the covenant and the, the relationship that he has with our parents to become our relationship. But those relationships have to be built in truth and the truth of God's word. [00:31:44] So Abraham's promise now becomes Abraham Isaac's promise. I'm sorry. And the promise is repeated through the lineage of Isaac, not Ishmael. [00:31:56] So to know God, we have to know him for ourselves and we have to build a relationship with him for ourselves. [00:32:06] And a promise from God is the most valuable thing that any of us can have, is that promise that we talked about at the beginning of this. Okay, Now, Esau gets married here. [00:32:17] So let's read this. This is Genesis chapter 26, 34 and 35. And Esau was 40 years old when he took the wife, Judith, the daughter of Bera the Hittite, and Bashamath, the daughter of Elon the Hittite, which were a grief of man to Isaac and Rebecca. These people were heathens, worshiping all kinds of strange gods and things. And, and Esau didn't take heed to the advice that. [00:32:49] That his father and grandfather had here. [00:32:52] And so that kind of shows us right there how worldly and physical sensual that Esau was. He would, I find. I bet they was hot. You know, he was hot looking them Hittite girls back then. Anyway, though that is what Esau wanted. [00:33:12] And the Bible tells us, don't be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. [00:33:17] I heard old man say one time, when you pick your friends, you picking your future. Well, what about a wife? That certainly is the most intimate relationship that we can have outside of our relationship with God. That certainly is going to affect our belief system somehow. And what we do as we build our relationship with the Lord outside of God and salvation. Choosing a spouse is the most important decision that any us will. Will ever take, ever making our lives. [00:33:47] And so I'm going to stop here as we're out of time now. We've. We've been going on for quite a while here. But I would like to stop to say this. [00:33:59] A lot of times when we are dealing with belief in something, we tend to look at our tradition. [00:34:09] And when we say tradition, a lot of times, especially here in America, we think about tradition. The first thing that we think about is Christmas and Thanksgiving and those sorts of things. [00:34:19] But we have to understand that a tradition is anything we believe for a long period of time, anything. I believe that four times 10 is 40. That's been a tradition of mine since the fourth grade. [00:34:36] And so I use that to show how we use those kinds of words in a study like this. A lot of times our tradition will make us go down a road that maybe God does not agree with. [00:34:52] Just because my grandmother believes a certain thing doesn't mean that's God's definition to Give you an example of the definition of the word belief. [00:35:04] Our definition as human beings of belief is to come to a conclusion in my mind. That's our definition. That's not God's definition. It's a partial definition of what God has for us. [00:35:18] God's definition of belief is to come to a conclusion in my mind accompanied by a physical action that I do that corresponds to what I say. I believe that God told Abraham to go and find a country that, that I'm going to show you. Abraham started walking. Don't even know if you're going in the right direction. But God sees him doing this and he says, okay, I got somebody I can maybe put these eggs in his basket and help the human race to know. And Abraham became the father of the, of the faithful. [00:35:52] So when we think about that kind of thing and when we get to this, some things, we are quick to calculate things in our mind. [00:36:02] You know, if I believe this, that means these things have to accompany what I say I believe. And I don't want to go down that road. [00:36:10] It may affect where I go to church. If I believe you, I'm going to have to quit going to this church. I'm going to go to this church or here with these folks. [00:36:19] I don't want to do that. So I can just say I don't believe this. [00:36:22] And I think too we have to continue to look at those things and determine that my definition of belief has to be the same as what God says and I need to be willing to believe what he says I should believe. [00:36:38] And, and that's where we have to begin. Abraham believed God. It was counted to him for righteousness. [00:36:45] Well, we have to believe God so that it can be accounted to us for righteousness. [00:36:51] And that brings us to the end of our lesson here and we'll continue down this. And these lessons will get deeper as we go on with, with our lessons because we will talk about things deeper and deeper and we'll be able to connect them with our own lives a little bit more. [00:37:09] But that brings to the end of our lesson. It's been very, very fun. The time always goes so fast. And I remember we're here three times a week. [00:37:19] Even though we're just beginning, technically we're just beginning. Even though we have 10 or 12 lessons in our series here, our beginning of the week series, which is special lessons, things that happen in the news and God's prophetic time clock. This is, this recording today belongs to our midweek lesson series because you know, that's continual Bible study. And then we have the end of the week which answer your questions. And so now we are, have taken care of a lot of technical difficulties that we've had setting up this, this show. So now we're able to continue and bring you three shows per week, which is, which is our plan to continue to do that. So wherever you get your video content, your audio podcast, whether it be Apple, Spotify, however you get that, or whatever outlet you choose, and the video outlet which this is the YouTube that you're watching here as well as Spotify video. And also I want to say in some of our previous recordings, when you see a pop up when it shows like, you know, website like that, usually there is a, a, you know, some audio playing in the background when those pop up. [00:38:37] And so sometimes that doesn't always come through. That's something we're working on too. So if you're watching the video, most of these videos that we make are the, the audio podcast last about 35 to 40, 45 minutes at the most. [00:38:50] So if you're watching 20 minutes and you see that pop up, you know a commercial is going on and it doesn't, you know, do through the audio podcast, you, it's coming through but the video it's not. So we're working to correct that. But just remember, continue to follow us like us, if you're watching us on YouTube, make sure you like and subscribe, ring the bell. [00:39:10] So that helps us to be able to grow the channel. Also to tell your friends and some people watch us or listen to us while they're working out, walking and doing different things on their audio podcast. So however you receive this, we're very, very glad to have you here and thank you for being a part of an amazing thing. And as always, go out and make it an amazing day today. We'll see you next time. [00:39:52] Sa it.
