[00:00:39] Hello everyone and welcome to an Amazing Thing. Thank you for joining me. This is our early week show where we're continuing our series from now to Eternity. This is lesson number six. And today's subject matter is going to be number nine on our chart.
[00:00:55] Bring that up and you can see where we are.
[00:01:00] Okay, number nine, we're going to cover the end of the Great Tribulation, the battle of Armageddon and the seventh trumpet and the second coming of Jesus Christ. And those two events will be combined together because they are that one event. So that's where we're going to begin today.
[00:01:20] And so all of these things we're studying, we're going to have to have individual shows that go into detail on each of these subject matters so that we'll have an in depth study. This is somewhat of an overview as we go over the things on our chart here. First, we're going to go ahead and start with the end of the Great Tribulation here.
[00:01:40] In our last lesson we talked about the Great Tribulation. Jesus told us when it would begin. And he told us that In Matthew chapter 24, verses 15 and 21, the middle of Daniel 70th week, there's three and a half years left and that would be the halfway point in the final seven years, which is the Great Tribulation.
[00:02:01] Now in this particular lesson, in this event that we're covering now on number nine on our chart, we're at we're approaching the end of the Great Tribulation here. I'm going to read. This is Daniel, chapter 11, verses 41.
[00:02:15] He shall enter also into the glorious land and many countries shall be overthrown, but these shall escape out of his hand. Edom, Moab and the chief priests of the children of Ammon. Okay, now the Antichrist has pretty much got the rest of the world solidified, or most of the world solidified under his control, with a few exceptions. And now he's getting ready to go into the glorious land, which is Israel and the surrounding land. And this scripture is telling us that there are places where that he will never control.
[00:02:53] A lot of times we paint a picture of the Antichrist and his conquering of the world with his one world government, if you will. And it just seems like every nook and cranny is under his control.
[00:03:06] But we know that this scripture tells us that the Edom, Moab and Ammon will escape out of his hands. We know that Edom is southern Jordan, the Moab Mountains are central Jordan and Amman, Jordan is the capital of Jordan. So we know that that will never fall into his hands. There will still be other places in the world that would challenge the Antichrist and his one world government and will escape out of his hands. And we'll get to those in a minute.
[00:03:33] The glorious land is Israel and the surrounding areas where he would turn his attention to that.
[00:03:39] And we know that Israel, the way we see Israel in the map right now, is not the land that God described to the fullness and the capacity of what Israel was supposed to be. And so I think when it talks about these countries, for instance, at that time, the west bank, which is, they call it the occupied territory and the Bible calls it Judea Samaria will be given to the Palestinians and that will be considered their country.
[00:04:06] So when the Bible says all these countries, that's what is referring to there.
[00:04:12] And so this is the end of the great tribulation. But the Antichrist is still fighting wars in different places. That's what we said a minute ago, that he would not control every nook and cranny of the world. This is Daniel, chapter 11, verse 44. But tidings out of the east and the north shall trouble him.
[00:04:32] Therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly make away many.
[00:04:39] So we know that he's going to be continuing to try to gain control over the whole world in turn force them to worship him as Lord. And so some places in the east will not submit to him. The Bible doesn't tell us who those places are.
[00:04:58] Also some places in the northern hemisphere will be formidable and will threaten him and he'll go through to try to, to overcome those people. But obviously he has problems all the way to the end of the great tribulation according to these scriptures Here. We did a show not long ago called US in the Bible and the US kind of stands for the US in an acronym of that and, and it talks about this. So if you want to go back into our archives and watch that show or listen to it, the podcast version of it, it's a, it's a fantastic show and explains a lot of what we're seeing here on this part of this series, you'll be able to understand that better. And like I said, we will have more detail, detailed lessons on these shows so that you can absolutely know that what we're talking about is something that is soon going to come to pass here.
[00:05:54] This is Revelation, chapter 12, verses 13 and 14.
[00:05:58] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child, that's Israel. And the woman were given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place where she is nourished for time, times and half a time from the face of the serpent. So we know now in this sense the serpent is Satan himself. And the Antichrist and his one world government. Israel's home place is where she is now. That is the land, or partially the land that God described back in Genesis that he would give to them.
[00:06:37] This depicts the United States of America. I just mentioned that a moment ago. And the Bible says that the United States of America will protect Israel all the way through the great Tribulation.
[00:06:48] This scripture also depicts again the length of the great Tribulation, three and a half years.
[00:06:54] And so the Antichrist will seek to rule the world, but his fury will mainly be against Israel, the physical people of God, as well as true Christians, the spiritual people of God. Now we knew some of the creep. We know that some of the Christians will buckle from pressure from the Antichrist and his global government. Some will not understand what's going on and submit to it.
[00:07:20] But we know that true Christians who understand these scriptures will never buckle and some of them will be put to death.
[00:07:27] And so, approaching the end of this final three and a half year period, Israel refuses to release East Jerusalem to the Arab Palestinians.
[00:07:38] So they want this for their capital. And Israel, after all this time, still refuses to to give this and that this is going to be the guys in which the Antichrist is going to attack Israel.
[00:07:48] We know that really Satan wants to destroy the physical people of God and this is the excuse that he uses to do that. And so we can know exactly what this is. And so this prompts the next thing on our chart here.
[00:08:04] Let's pull it up again, number nine, which is going to be the Battle of Armageddon.
[00:08:10] So now we're going to talk about the Battle of Armageddon, which is the second element of what we're showing number nine on our chart here.
[00:08:18] Okay? This world leader, the Antichrist and his one world government is attempting to exalt their power over Israel who refuses to submit to him.
[00:08:28] And they have done throughout the world. Everybody, most places in the world will have submitted to him by this time.
[00:08:35] Now he turns his attention, as in the scripture we read earlier, to Israel. And, and I'm going to read this. This is Revelation, chapter 13, verse 7.
[00:08:45] And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And power was given him over all kindreds, tongues and nations.
[00:08:57] Well, we know that when it talks about this scripture, we've already shown that there are places that will challenge him. So all the places he controls, he will have authority over all those people and they will be under his jurisdiction. So he will either force those people to worship him or they will be destroyed.
[00:09:20] Satan has continued to scour the world to wipe any opposition to his world dominating away from this and have absolute power is what he's trying to do. This includes the saints, which are the true believers of Jesus Christ under his jurisdiction. Because we know that in spite of what some of our leaders have said as of late, the United States is a Christian country. And so this is going to be one of the places that he's going to seek to destroy people called up the name of Jesus Christ. And not. He's not going to be able to do that then.
[00:09:55] So, and so the saints, the true saints, will be there, as well as other places that he does have jurisdiction over.
[00:10:04] So we're gonna have to deal with that. If you happen to live in one of the places where he will control, he probably will overcome the saints there. But we know that we're in the Great Tribulation. The return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is not very far away at this time, so there's no reason for us to fear that. And, and we'll talk more about that a little bit later since we're nearing the end of his reign, the end of the Great Tribulation. He will have already done most of the things that we just mentioned here, sought out all the Christians who won't bow the knee, all the physical people of God who happens to be in these countries.
[00:10:46] He will have tracked all those people down and probably destroyed them unless they submit to him.
[00:10:53] The Antichrist, with Satan's backing, will place the world under individual sanctions and, and national sanctions in all these places because he will be the controller of most of the world at this time.
[00:11:09] So he will force most of the populations using the Antichrist as his puppet, to submit to him and force them to worship him. And that's the important thing that he's trying to pursue.
[00:11:23] Okay, I'm going to read this. This is Revelation, chapter 13, verses 16 and 17.
[00:11:28] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead that no man might buy or sell except those who had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.
[00:11:47] So through economic sanction, you know, you won't be able to buy or sell without his say so.
[00:11:52] He will be able to freeze people, whole countries out of the economy until they submit to him. And that's going to be something he's going to use.
[00:12:02] Whatever oath the person will have to take in order to be able to buy or sell will be viewed as worship. And you'll be worshiping the Antichrist, his one world socialistic system. We will have a future lesson while we did what we show you that this is a socialistic, socialistic system that he's using so that we can know that it's something we, we don't want to have anything to do with.
[00:12:27] Then the name or the number of this beach will, will have made sense to the people at that time. We don't know if it'll be a prefix to your, In America we have the Social Security number. It could be a prefix or a suffix to that and, or whatever number it is, we will somehow equal his name. But the most important part of this will be the oath that we take to get the mark or the country submitting to that, submitting their oath to the one world government. It'll make sense to the people at the time. And if we do this, we will be damned and will spend eternity in the lake of fire.
[00:13:11] So we certainly don't want to, to be a part of that. And we know that once we take part in this oath or the number of his name, or the name of the beast, however that turns out to be, we know that there is no coming back from that. Just as when God shit to the door and the Noah at the time of the Ark, there was no way to come back from that. This will be the same way.
[00:13:37] So that is why we're having lessons like this to educate the people so that you'll know what is coming when he gets here, what to take part in, what not to take part in, and what God is trying to show us. Because God loves us and wants to save his people.
[00:13:52] And so at this time Satan is going to turn his attention to the place of the physical people of God. That's Israel. And so he will probably have destroyed or converted all of the physical people of God in other places that he does control. So now this is the place he can't control. He's going to make them submit themselves to him this is Revelation chapter 16:16.
[00:14:16] And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Now the word Armageddon is made up of two words, Har Megiddo, which is interpreted the heel of Megiddo. That's two words heel. And Megiddo is the place there.
[00:14:35] It's a far north part of Israel. 160 miles north of Jerusalem is where this is located.
[00:14:42] Satan thinks is his idea to come against Israel. And so many wars were fought in Megiddo. It's a natural place for war. And there's a blind spot that is Armageddon, the hill of Megiddo which is where so many wars in Israel history began. But like I said, Satan thinks it's his idea. He's going to come down and finally shut down these people who have defied him throughout the the great tribulation. This is Ezekiel 38, verse 4.
[00:15:12] And I will turn thee back and put hooks into thy jaws and I will bring thee forth and all thine army and horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in all sorts of armor, even a great company.
[00:15:27] So these people think it's their idea, but God says it's really I'm gonna bring you down here. We're gonna find a minute why God does that. The same thing is found in another place in the New Testament. This is Revelation chapter 16, verse 12.
[00:15:40] And it says here, this is under the sixth angel pouring out the vial. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates and the water thereof was dried up. That the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
[00:15:57] And we'll describe this event in more detail as we get closer to it. Because we know that there is a dam in Turkey called the Ataturk Dam which is going to be used for this purpose.
[00:16:09] Both these scriptures show us that God himself is causing these things to come to pass. And one of the, one of the reasons is to bring the one world government together to this place.
[00:16:24] Now this is the one world government global army. They think they're going to destroy Israel because they will not comply.
[00:16:32] And you know, with to the separated city that the East Jerusalem would be given to the Palestinians. We said before that's the guys that the Antichrist is going to use. And that is why they're saying they're coming down to persecute Israel. They say for this reason. But that's not really the reason.
[00:16:52] God said so many times that I'm going to put my name in Jerusalem and this is going to be where my people belong there. Well, Satan said, if that's where you want your name, that's why I'm going to put my name and I'm going to destroy those people if they don't buy the need of me. And so that is the purpose of this.
[00:17:11] And so this is a twofold purpose for this Satan inspired army to go down to punish Israel. We're going to talk about those two things here. One of them is that the Antichrist thinks he's going to destroy Israel, make them worship him. But God says, I'm going to bring them down so I can deal with this army that has persecuted the whole world in one place.
[00:17:37] So therefore we are going to bring them all down there. That's the first reason God brings them down there. The second reason is to punish Israel for making this treaty with the one world government in the first place. That happened before this time, seven years before this time, where they agreed to divide the land that God told them, when I bring you into the land, don't make any deals with with them. Utterly drive them out. He told them that one place in, In Deuteronomy chapter 7 he says, don't make any deals with these people. Tear down their high places and utterly drive them out. Well, Israel has refused to do that largely for 3,000 years or so. We know that during the time of David and Solomon they had all of the land there. But since that time they haven't. And they been so worried of how the world will perceive them that they constantly go along with what the world trying to please the world and be loved. And the world is never going to love them.
[00:18:41] And until the Lord comes back and establishes his kingdom.
[00:18:46] So that is the second reason God, everything we do builds up into a place when God has to deal with unrepentant sin. And this is the reason God has to deal with them. But under unrepentant sin they refuse to acknowledge their Savior and continuing to try to be pleasing in the eyes of the world.
[00:19:11] So this battle will have begun. And Armageddon, the hill of Megiddo is going to work its way. That's 160 miles north of Jerusalem. It's going to work its way down through the valley of Megiddo, through the plain of Megiddo. That's where David killed Goliath at that plane. The Valley of Jezreel. It changes name several times, the Valley of Jehoshaphat and ends up in the Kidron Valley which separates the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives. And so this battle will obviously go down through 160 miles. And by that time, all kinds of weaponry will have been used at that time.
[00:19:48] So it's an amazing thing that's going to happen there. Now, here as they approach Jerusalem, Israel will have fought gallantly against the overwhelming world government army, but they will be driven back and back and back into the city of Jerusalem being a very desperate situation for them. And they will cry out to the Lord and they will be heard.
[00:20:13] We know that Israel has been taught that even though they're a largely atheistic society, that at the time you need your Messiah most, he will be found of you. And so they're going to be in a place now where the city is going to be contained by the, the Antichrist army. That one world government army. It didn't say the city would be destroyed. It said he will, he will contain that city as they approach that.
[00:20:43] And so now we're approaching the part here, let me read this. This is Ezekiel, chapter 38, verses 18 and 19.
[00:20:51] And it shall come to pass that in that same time when Gog, that's the Russian, one world led army, shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face, for in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath I have spoken. Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.
[00:21:17] Okay, this tells us now when they're approaching the city here. And God has allowed this to come down until it equals the amount of judgment for them that is necessary.
[00:21:30] And let's go back to our chart here.
[00:21:33] And this brings us to the next event that we're going to cover, which is on number nine, Jesus return, which is the second coming and the end of the great tribulation there.
[00:21:47] So this is the seventh trumpet in the return of Jesus Christ.
[00:21:51] And so that's where we are right now.
[00:21:55] Okay, I'm gonna read this scripture here. This is Jesus speaking. This is Matthew, chapter 24, verses 29 through 31.
[00:22:04] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from heaven, the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn. And they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with the power and greater and great glory.
[00:22:32] And shall send his angels with a sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from before the winds be from one end of heaven to the other.
[00:22:45] Excuse me, that poor reading of that, but that is when that's going to begin there. There are so many amazing answers in the scriptures here. Let us know the timing of certain things.
[00:22:59] We know the darkening of the elements is in every description of the 7 trumpet and the fight which is the final trumpet and the return of Jesus Christ.
[00:23:08] There is a great shaking in this time which the Bible prophesies, a great earthquake in different parts of the world. So it's not just going to be in Israel. We know that it's going to separate Israel and that's what's going to stop the progression of the one world army is going to be that great earthquake. Here we see angels gathering the elect from the four winds. The elect is the church.
[00:23:33] So when we see the seventh trumpet, the end of the great tribulation, the return of Jesus Christ, all of these things happen at this very time.
[00:23:43] So we have a study that we're going to do on a future lesson in this show called the Rapture. That's a future lesson. We need to, to be looking out for that because we need to know the time of the Rapture. There's a lot of been. There are a lot of different opinions that have been taught about the Rapture, different opinions about the timing of the Rapture.
[00:24:05] But we're going to do an in detail study of that particular subject matter so you will know what the Bible says about it, not just what we have been a tradition of ours for such a long time.
[00:24:18] The people on the earth will mourn according to this scripture because they realize that their whole scriptural view as well as their worldview has been a wrong view and their destiny has been sealed. So they will mourn because of that reason. Now we move on to other scriptures that talk about this particular time just ahead of us. Remember all of the accounts, the return of Jesus Christ and these events are dramatizations because this is such a. An important thing. God wanted to show us different dramatizations throughout different scriptures in the Bible to show us what this is. We're going to read now revelation, chapter 6, verses 12 through 17.
[00:25:04] And I beheld when I had opened the. When he had opened the sixth seal.
[00:25:10] And lo, there was a great earthquake. And the sun was made black as sackcloth of hair. And the moon became as blood. And the stars fell unto the earth as figs cast their untimely figs. And she is shaken of a mighty wind.
[00:25:26] And the heaven departed as a scroll. When it scrolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth and the great men and the rich men and the chief captains and mighty men and every bond man hid themselves in the dens of the rocks of the mountains and said to the mountains and the rocks fall on us and hide us from the face of he, him that sitteth on the throne from the Raft of the Lamb, for that great day of his wrath has come. We know that all of the seals are the Raft of God. And this is under the sixth seal. It gives us a unique view about the time of the very end of the age here, which is what we're discussing here. And we know there's several, like I said, several different dramatizations. This is such an important thing that we should know about. And they all. Every time it talks about these things, it gives us the same things that happen here.
[00:26:31] We see the sun and the moon were darkened. That happened in every place. And like I said, we'll do special shows where we cover these things in very, very intricate detail.
[00:26:42] The stars fall from heaven, depart like a scroll, which I believe is because nuclear weapons have been used and they have scorched the skies. And so that could be why this is here. We also see earthquakes and islands moving out of their places. And that lets us know that there are many, many different earthquakes throughout the world in different regions as the Lord returns to the earth. Here we see people realizing the disastrous belief system that they've held were wrong. And their eternal destination has been sealed there.
[00:27:15] And so that's why, you know, God has given to us to. To witness and have lessons and shows like this so that you can know what is just ahead of us and make it a part of who you are to study His Word and conform your life to the Word of God. This is Revelation, chapter 11, verses 15 through 17. And the seventh angel sounded and there were great voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.
[00:27:50] And the 4 and 20 elders which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshiped God, saying, we give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art which was which art to come, Because Thou have taken thee Thy great powers and has reigned. This is an amazing thing here. And reading these scriptures, really, really so amazing. This is an account under the sixth and seventh seal, the seventh trumpet and the seventh vial, which are all happen at the very, very same time. And they're all accounts of the return of Jesus Christ at his second coming. Here, this account lets us know that this begins a transition from man government until to the government of Jesus Christ. You know, it says the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ. And he's not going to leave it to any other people anymore. We've had the opportunity to rule ourselves.
[00:28:47] Now we've got to the point where it should be understood by us that we cannot rule ourselves.
[00:28:54] So now Jesus has to come back to do it. Let's read this. This is Revelation, chapter 16, verse 16 through 18.
[00:29:02] This is found on the account of the vials.
[00:29:04] And he gathered them together in two. A place in the Hebrew tongue, Armageddon. And the seventh angel, excuse me, the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air. And there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne, saying, it is done.
[00:29:26] And there were voices, thunderings and lightning. And there was a great earthquake such as was not since men were on the earth so mighty of earthquake, so great.
[00:29:38] So we walked.
[00:29:40] We talked about the account of the battle of Armageddon in the earlier portion. We see the same events taking place here as we talk about the vials and as Jesus returns. So it's the same event.
[00:29:53] These events began at the north Armageddon and ended up in the Kidron Valley in the city of Jerusalem. And we're still seeing the lightnings and the.
[00:30:04] The earthquakes and the thunder. And well, according to this, according to Stevie Nicks is gonna be raining because she said thunder never happens until this is raining.
[00:30:15] There are just some of the accounts of the seventh trumpet, the seventh seal, the seventh vowel. And I'm sure the seventh thunder, if God has showed us where it was, would end here.
[00:30:26] And so this is where we are.
[00:30:31] And so we're gonna read another part of something that is talking about this time as well. And Jesus gave us a parable back in Matthew 13 talking about this. And we're gonna. Which is the two harvest. And we're gonna talk about it from a revelation point of view. This is found in Revelation, chapter 14, verses 14 through 16.
[00:30:55] And I looked and behold a white cloud. And upon the cloud one sat, like unto the son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, thrust in thy sickle and reap.
[00:31:18] For the time has come for thee to reap. The harvest of the earth is ripe. And he set on his cloud and thrust in his sickle of the earth, and the earth was reaped. Now this event happens at the sounding of the seven trumpet.
[00:31:34] This is the reaping of the earth, which is the harvest of wheat, is what this is is referring to, which is the elect of the people.
[00:31:44] This is the rapture is what it's referring to.
[00:31:47] And earlier I said that we have to have a show and dedicated at one subject matter because people have said that this happened earlier here with this scripture and another scripture that we read. Certainly shows that it doesn't happen. Then it happens that are at. At the end of the great Tribulation. Jesus gave us this portion of the parable of the harvest of the wheat and the tares, as we said here in Matthew 13. So we're going to go back and read that. That's a parable about this baton that we're reading here.
[00:32:16] This is Revelation, chapter 14, 17, 20. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. And he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar which had the power over fire, and cried with a loud voice to him that had the sharp sickle saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth.
[00:32:45] Her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle unto the earth and gathered the vine of the earth and cast them into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city. And blood came out of the winepress even to the hoist bridles by the space of a thousand six hundred furlongs. And sixteen hundred furlongs are approximately one hundred and sixty miles, which a furlong is approximately a tenth of a mile.
[00:33:18] This is describing the battle of Armageddon. And this will have happened for 160 miles. And I can only imagine with the timing it would take to fight a battle that travels that far.
[00:33:33] But this is the second harvest, the where the tares the other weeds which will be burned with unquenchable fire.
[00:33:43] This harvest happens at the Battle of Armageddon. And that is a part of the the raft of God Almighty, the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
[00:33:52] So this has been a view of the events on our number nine on our chart here. We'll look at it one more time here and look at your number nine. We covered the end of the Great Tribulation, the battle of Armageddon, the seventh trumpet and the return of Jesus Christ here.
[00:34:14] And we will continue here with.
[00:34:18] We have one more lesson in this series and the Purpose of this series again was to kind of give us a timeline of when these things would happen and we just sort of skimmed over the top of these of these events.
[00:34:32] We know that we would have to go into detail that's going to take quite a few shows to be able to do.
[00:34:39] And so we're going to take our time not going to just rush through these things.
