[00:01:09] First of all, I'm going to start with two issues to address from previous shows.
[00:01:14] This issue is from Pauline, who is calling from Muncie, Indiana.
[00:01:21] You said in John chapter 20, verse 17 that Jesus said to Mary Magdalene, don't hold on to me. But it does say, don't touch me. How can you explain this?
[00:01:35] First of all, let's get everybody caught up on the question that was asked on a previous show.
[00:01:40] Someone asked the question, did Jesus tell Mary Magdalene, don't touch me because she was a prostitute? That was the question.
[00:01:50] And I said, he didn't say, don't touch me. He said, don't hold on to me.
[00:01:56] And the reason that is, it does say in, in the King James translation, don't touch me. But when we research this through several of the translations to fit the context of what Jesus is saying here, what Jesus is saying to her is don't hold on to this physical body.
[00:02:19] Because now we're proceeding into the spiritual relationship that God has for us. We know the Bible uses the word temporal.
[00:02:29] We know that anything we can see touch is temporal. Temporary spiritual things are forever. While in the Old Testament, God dealt with Israel, which was the physical people of God, now we're transitioning into the spiritual people of God. And that is what Jesus is saying to Mary Magdalene here. First of all, we know that in one place, like I said before, the King James says, it does say don't touch me. The new King James, I'm sorry, the new international version says, don't hold on to me.
[00:03:10] And that's the context which we're going here.
[00:03:13] Another translation, I think the new American standard says don't cling to me.
[00:03:18] But like I said, for the context of what Jesus is answering here, don't hold on to this physical body. That is what the context and the, and the pretext of what that is saying to Us. So we know that that is correct because the Bible teaches that we're moving into a spiritual kingdom at that point. And Mary Magdalene was going to have to be, you know, a disciple of Jesus and give her testimony wherever she went to what Jesus did in her life. And so she had to understand that because we now we're into the physical kingdom where God dwells with us in a spiritual manner now.
[00:04:01] And so I hope that answers everybody's question there.
[00:04:05] Also, we have another issue with Martin of kind of the same nature. He's emailing us from Stamford, Connecticut.
[00:04:14] The question you answered about the rich young ruler said that Jesus gazed in him. In my Bible, it says Jesus looked at him.
[00:04:23] How did you arrive at your conclusion with what you said when the Bible clearly says he looked at him? Well, you're. You're right.
[00:04:34] The root word that I was using there when I went to the concordance to see what the original Greek word was, was a word that I really can't pronounce, but it's m, blip, oh, emble.
[00:04:46] And so that's a Greek word that means it can be translated a lot of different ways here. And so which several meanings are descriptions of it. This particular word, One description says he beheld him.
[00:05:02] That would still work in the context in which I brought that to you. One of them says he looked upon him nothing. The King James says that, which is what you're referring to. He looked upon him.
[00:05:12] Another translation said he discerned him.
[00:05:16] Well, the translation that I use, which I believe is a correct also he gazed upon him. How do we come to that conclusion? Because Jesus is searching inside this man's heart to answer his question. He said, what do I have to do to obtain eternal life? And Jesus answered his question, says, obey the prophets and the law. He says, this I've done since I was a little boy. What else do I need to do? And now he's asking a very, very deep question, and Jesus is answering that question. Then Jesus looked down in that man's soul and came to the conclusion that this man loves his money more than he will ever love me.
[00:05:55] And Jesus would have to gaze in that man's soul to come to this kind of conclusion. And so to that man, it was money. To somebody else, it could be fame, it could be intellect, it could be anything, could be great physical works to become like a Jordan to somebody. So to him, that's what it was. And Jesus answered his question. And the young man went away sorrowful.
[00:06:20] So, which confirms what Jesus saw in that man's. Heart because this is what you lack to obtain eternal life. You never love God as much as you love your money.
[00:06:31] So that's the correct way of looking at it. And I do appreciate being called out because that's the way we all learn. And we're not here to just me to talk about it. And we're here for correction and reproof if necessary, in God's word teaches us that, that that's something that we need. And I so very much thank you, Pauline and Martin, for sending that back. And so none of us are above reproach when it comes to the word of God. And we're all here learning and growing together. Especially I'm, I'm teaching this on a fundamental level so that we have all have a beginning understanding of God's word. We. And we have to go beyond that. But this is a good starting place.
[00:07:14] And so.
[00:07:16] And that's what I was referring to there.
[00:07:20] Okay, let me move on with this now. Okay, on now to this week's questions. This is a question from Milton. He's calling from Taylorville, Illinois. I watched your lesson on YouTube. I believe it was in the beginning. 8.
[00:07:39] Do you think that Pharaoh was justified in killing the baker? And do you think he was guilty?
[00:07:46] Well, to fill everyone in on what Milton is referring to In Genesis chapter 40, we know that that was the time of Joseph. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers.
[00:08:00] He worked for Potiphar as a slave. And then he was did such a great job. Potiphar made him the in charge of everything that Potiphar did.
[00:08:09] Potiphar's wife accused him of making advances toward her and then he ended up in prison. Well, cream always rises to the top. Joseph ends up in charge of the prison. And so it was the prison where a lot of the high ranking prisoners were held. He came across the baker and the butler whom had been locked up. Now these are people who worked in Pharaoh's house.
[00:08:33] Joseph walked up and said, why are you so sad today?
[00:08:36] They say that we've been put in prison here and we have both had dreams. And they both told Joseph what their dreams were.
[00:08:43] The baker, of course, is in charge of as a cup bearer and running Pharaoh's house. He said that I had a dream where there were three vines full of grapes and I took the grapes and squeezed them into Pharaoh's cup.
[00:08:59] Joseph interpreted the dream and he said that the three branches are three days. In three days you'll be restored back to your job as Pharaoh's butler. Well, now the baker Heard this story and he says I had a dream also.
[00:09:13] My dream was that I had three white baskets on my head with baked goods for Pharaoh. The birds came and ate the, the baked goods off of my head. There were no white baskets.
[00:09:28] Then Joseph interpreted his dream. He says, the three baskets are three days. In three days you will be hanged.
[00:09:34] And so that's what happened here. Now we have to come to a conclusion that you know, Pharaoh thought he was justified in hanging the, the baker. And I would imagine you know also too in that lesson, that question, answer when someone asked that question, I created a scenario to why they were in prison in the first place. And this is my made up scenario.
[00:10:03] Somebody in Pharaoh's family got sick.
[00:10:06] And Pharaoh said, what did you eat?
[00:10:08] Could have been his wife, one of his kids or somebody. Well, all I ate was some of that meat and drank a little of that wine.
[00:10:15] And then Pharaoh told his, his, his military said, grab the butler and the baker, lock them up, take two prisoners, put them in a cell, feed one nothing but that meat. Give the other nothing but that wine.
[00:10:32] The one that gets sick will know who's responsible. Hang the one responsible. So that, that's a scenario that would, would create a situation to where they would both be there for something to eat and something to drink.
[00:10:47] And so Pharaoh felt he was justified to do so. To make an example for the other people working in his kitchen.
[00:10:57] To let these people know you can't bring no, any kind of slop up in his. Feed that to my family or this is what's going to happen to you. To put everybody else on, you know, top shelf to where they're preparing this. And also not just the people preparing food, but everybody who worked Pharaoh's house in any capacity to let you know there's a consequence for making my family sick. And also too. Now I don't have the power to interpret dreams, but we do know that the baker said that the meat, the baked meats for Pharaoh were in three white baskets. Well in the Bible a lot of times white is a sign of purity which would tell me that there was nothing wrong with that meat. So that means he was preparing that meat in some type of careless way, maybe slicing it up on some salmonella lace countertop or something. And so Pharaoh thought he was, was, was responsible and worthy to die. And we don't know whether it just made someone in Pharaoh's family sick. I could have killed somebody in Pharaoh's family.
[00:12:02] So Pharaoh thought it was justified. And of course all this is speculation on my part. But Pharaoh thought it was justified.
[00:12:09] And that is another thing that's in the course of the story of Joseph.
[00:12:15] So it's an amazing thing that is.
[00:12:19] And so something for us to ponder. And there's a lot of exciting things like that that we can think about in the word of God that helps us to be able to rightly, you know, go through God's word with some type of understanding of it.
[00:12:37] Okay, let's move on now. This is Colleen. She's emailing us from Commerce, Texas. Can you explain in more detail why Jesus spoke in parables?
[00:12:48] Yes.
[00:12:49] For everybody listening, a parable is a story that Jesus made up that reveals truth to one person while hiding truth from another person as a direct result of somebody's heart, the condition of their heart. And Jesus answered that question that you're asking me by quoting the prophet Isaiah and this question that Jesus's inscription is located in Matthew, chapter 13. And I give you what he said in a condensed version without reading everything.
[00:13:20] But you can go back and read it. It's chapter 13 in the book of Matthew is one of the places where this is located.
[00:13:27] Verse 15 says, for this people heart, the people's heart is wax. Gross. Their ears are dull hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and should be converted and I should heal them.
[00:13:49] Let's break this down into three aspects of what Jesus is saying here.
[00:13:54] People's hearts are wax. Gross.
[00:13:58] The condition.
[00:14:00] All the conditions of life have weighed people's hearts down, have calloused their hearts with stuff, you know, abuse, accusation, prejudices, troubles of life, a cynical view of life with no hope of. Of changing it in some cases. So that's a condition of the heart that will affect how a person sees something.
[00:14:24] You know, somebody said, you knew what I've been through, you'd understand that kind of talk. And so a lot of times the condition of a person's heart is so callous that they're unwilling to see things or allow things to penetrate their heart in another way other than the way they see it.
[00:14:42] And so that's one condition that a person that would stop our understanding of what God is trying to show us.
[00:14:49] Another thing that Jesus said here, ears are dull of hearing.
[00:14:53] You know, I'm not seeing any of my faults in this situation. Look, I didn't have no control of what they thought. I. This is what I did. All those kinds of things, you know, they're hearing some why we got to Keep jumping through all these hoops in order to understand what you're saying. You know, you, instead of just asking my questions, start talking about planting seeds and all these different kinds of things. And so a lot of people look at things through that way too. Jesus talking about. And we have to consider Jesus is talking to farmers and people who are, are couldn't understand planning a crop and those kinds of things. So then they say, well, why we got to jump through all these hoops and whatnot? So all of that makes things dull of hearing. Or some people will say, well, that's the truth for you, but for me it may be something else. And so that's why Jesus talks about loving the truth, not some truth that may be good for somebody else.
[00:15:50] And so their eyes, they have closed. The Bible didn't say, like a lot of times we read this and it says their eyes there, they've clothed. It's the right. Their eyes, they have clothes. So that is a important part of this. I didn't say that the eyes were closed. I said the eyes, they have closed them. So every time I talk to one of you people, you're telling me something I got to do that's different from what the last person told me. Look, I don't think all that's necessary. Well, that's a person closing their eyes. I don't believe that. And a lot of times people say, well, if I don't believe it, I just don't believe it.
[00:16:25] And we live in a society now where sometimes saying I don't believe something, you know, removes me from having that thing have to be a part of my life. If I say I don't believe it, then I'm relieved of the consequences of not believing it. And so that's something right there that a lot of us who, you know, when the word of God speaks to us in parables, that's what is revealing, you know, and also too, a lot of times, you know, but you know, these stories and things will bring out something in ourselves that we can see that we need to correct. When, when Jesus tells us what the answer this is in his Word and then we see how we would, would view that particular thing. Well, that's revealing to myself. There's something wrong here. And I need to pray for God to help me to, to, to cleanse my heart of the things that Jesus are talking about here. And that's what the instruction that Peter gave Simon the sorcerer in, in Samaria. So obviously that's something that, that we can, we can look at Here. So the people who receive God's Word with gladness have a measure of light.
[00:17:39] That means God can give us more light. He can walk with us a little closer, explain things in farther detail, you know, to us.
[00:17:49] We learned that we have some, you know, some things in our life that may be, you know, learn to love this, see things the way we're supposed to, may expose how some inconvenience in our life that we have to correct. So it's an amazing thing. This is also. We look through God's Word and the Gospels. We see Jesus spending a whole lot of time with some people who are receiving what he's speaking, but very little time with those people whose ears are dull of hearing. Their hearts wax. Gross. He didn't spend a whole lot of time with them people.
[00:18:33] So, you know, obviously this is something that will prevent Jesus from being able to come into our lives and show us things, illuminate our path and that sort of thing. So it's necessary for us to learn these things. And that's why Jesus spoke in parables, so that with a limited time that he had to establish his church, give it to the apostles so they can continue once he left them.
[00:18:58] Well, he had to be able to give it to the right people with hearts able to receive this. And so loving the truth is a responsible thing. And so we'll get to that more in a minute because somebody asked a question about that very thing.
[00:19:14] This next question is from Rennie emailing us from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Can a person commit suicide and go to heaven?
[00:19:23] Well, Jesus said in Matthew 5:21, Thou shalt not kill, and whoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment.
[00:19:33] Which is a very, very deep thing to say to somebody, which we'll get to in other lessons. But it makes it not so. Good thing. Also, the commandments say that thou shalt not kill. We know that's in the commandments. So that's one of God's highest things, that we should live our lives a certain way. But another thing I'm going to get to here.
[00:19:56] There is a law that rules mankind. It's ruled mankind from the time mankind was first on the earth. And it will rule until there's no more human beings on the face of the earth at all. And that's found in Ezekiel, chapter 18, verse 4. And it reads this way. Behold, all souls are mine. The soul of the Father, also the soul of the Son is mine. The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
[00:20:25] This scripture would let us know that the soul that you're taking. If you happen to be in one of these circumstances where that's what you've done or that's what you plan to do, that soul doesn't belong to you. So you're committing a whole lot of other sin by taking something or destroying something that doesn't belong to you in the first place. We were made for his pleasure. We're the creature.
[00:20:49] God is the creator.
[00:20:51] So we need to be able to understand it. So we are not our own. And judgment follows. So no matter how dire things seem to be, God will always provide a way out of any particular circumstances that we would consider, no matter how difficult or tough it is. You know, we got people that's sentenced to life in prison that don't walk down this road. And also too, I have to say this because we all have relatives and things who are in maybe have been in this situation that have taken their own lives. We know there is a great White Throne judgment where God will deal with these things and rightly separate people who may have had some serious mental condition that drove them to that. God knows how to.
[00:21:40] To deal with those types of situations. So from what I told you, what I think about this and so, and what the scripture said that I, on my level of understanding, talk about, but God is the ultimate judge of these things, and he will do that. And also this scripture, Ezekiel 18:4, the soul that sent it shall die. It's also in the New Testament. That's how we can know as long as human beings on the face of the earth, that let law will rule. In the New Testament. I think it's Romans 6:23. I believe the scripture is. I didn't research that where that is, but I think that's where it is. And it says this. The. The wages of sin is death. That's the same scripture worded in a different way.
[00:22:22] So that will always be a part of a human being's life because God is the giver of life.
[00:22:29] Okay, we'll move on. This question is from Randall. He's calling from Plano, Texas.
[00:22:35] What does the Bible mean when it says love the truth? This is the question that I thought about when they asked about the parable.
[00:22:44] First of all, there are two aspects of the question that Randall is asking here.
[00:22:53] And so I know in my level of understanding, you know, that this is. Let's just go forward. Jesus is the truth.
[00:23:00] So from the first aspect of it, Jesus is the truth. From a particular aspect, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life.
[00:23:11] So we know the correctness of godliness, manifestation of a person.
[00:23:16] You know, Jesus is the, is the godly manifestation of God.
[00:23:21] So that is loving the truth. And so we know that Jesus walked in the fullness and the stature of that. And so Jesus is the truth. So, and also Jesus came to fulfill all righteousness, which is our example of what we should be doing.
[00:23:40] And so we are instructed to love him. He is the truth.
[00:23:44] Love him with all our hearts, all our minds, and all our souls. That is the first and foremost commandment. Okay, now let's go to the second aspect, which I think is more of what he's asking, but I needed to include the last part of it.
[00:23:59] The second aspect is to love the truth, is to love God's instruction for us, even if it has consequences we don't like.
[00:24:08] You know, we grew up in certain circumstances and it's certain things we don't want to endure. We know we think about all kinds of things that we want to love. The truth could mean having to endure some emotional hurt that goes against something that God has instructed us and goes against some long held tradition that we may have.
[00:24:33] So we have to be prepared to do that if the word of God shows us that.
[00:24:39] Also to love the truth could mean letting go of something we've desperately, desperately wanted our whole lives.
[00:24:46] You know, have people who spend their whole life preparing for some career that may be something that God would not be approving of. And there are a lot of professions. Owning the casino would probably be one of them. And so, you know, however the case may be, that would be something that would come under the context of loving the truth. Am I willing to let go of something that I've longed for my whole life because it goes against what God says I should want in my life?
[00:25:19] And so all of those things would help us to be able to understand this. And God knows a lot of times we want something that is not good for us. And we know God's intentions are to bring us to an expected end.
[00:25:35] And so a lot of times the things we want will be something that may go against God's word and that's loving the truth.
[00:25:44] Also positive things, you know, we always talk about the negative things that come in our life. What about the positive things? Freedom from an illusion that certainly is an illusion that life brings our way. A lot of people think happiness is some kind of a physical thing that may be go against what God says happiness is. And so we have to think about that too. Also we get to walk in fellowship with God.
[00:26:12] That means not in opposition we're walking, he's walking with us, much like he did with Adam and Eve before they fail, you know, so we have that somewhat.
[00:26:23] We know we want to walk and grow. The Bible teaches us that when we walk in the light that God gives us, he's promised to give us more light so our fellowship with him becomes greater, as well as our fellowship with our brothers and sisters, that we are walking with God as well.
[00:26:42] So I was taught by a powerful man of God that, that when we are right with God, we are right with our fellow man.
[00:26:49] And so all of those things are connected together. So just as there's a positive, positive attribute to walking with God and loving the truth, there is a negative attribute to not loving the truth. And so we certainly want to be on the side of loving the truth, learning to grow and accepting what God says truth and happiness really is.
[00:27:12] This is question is from Sylvia. She's emailing from Tyler, Texas.
[00:27:17] Most ministers say that we are living in the last days.
[00:27:22] Peter said Joel preached that in the last days God would pour out his spirit upon everybody.
[00:27:29] Does that mean that everybody today is saved if we're living in the last days?
[00:27:35] Hi, Sylvia. That is a fantastic question. It's going to take a little bit of.
[00:27:41] Of explanation. So let's bring everybody up to date on what Sylvia is asking. We know that the prophet Joel in Joel 2, 28, 32, that in the last days that God would pour out his spirit upon all flesh from a certain starting point until the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And so therefore, in the last days, as a starting point now to bring us up to date, Peter in Acts, chapter two, verses 17 through 22, I'm gonna lead up to that. We know that Jesus came and preached and lived his life. And then that last Passover, he was the Passover lamb. That last year, 50 days after the Passover is a feast called the Pentecost. That was the day that God poured out his spirit for the first time. And you had those people in the upper room, 120, some of them was in the upper room and the Spirit was poured out upon all them. So they go out on the Temple Mount and they're preaching, prophesying, praising God. And the people there are seeing them.
[00:28:52] And, and you know, there's just the regular people in the community. They're seeing them. And then they accuse Peter and the apostles of being drunk. They're speaking in the heavenly language. They're probably dancing around, they're praising God and just having a celebration. So they say these Men are drunk off new wine. And then Peter stops and looks at them, fixes his eyes, that we are not drunk. It's just the third hour, this nine o' clock in the morning. They, even though taverns are no bars open this early.
[00:29:21] We're not drunk. And then he explains what you're seeing is what the prophet Joel prophesied back in Joel, chapter two, verses 28 through 32.
[00:29:32] And so he said, in the last days, God would pour out his spirit upon all flesh.
[00:29:39] Well, a lot of people, I think, you know, we use this scripture in a lot of different ways.
[00:29:45] And so let's break these down.
[00:29:47] The first days. There's 6,000 years of recorded human history.
[00:29:52] So you got to think, if we break it up, the first days were from Adam and Eve until Abraham. Just if that's the first days, God would dealt with people in a specific kind of way.
[00:30:04] Then we get from Abraham to Jesus. God dealt with the physical people of God from Abraham's time. He says, abraham, I'm going to deal with you and your seed. And it's the physical people of God always from Abraham to Jesus.
[00:30:19] And then those are the middle days. And then we get from the time Jesus was crucified, was buried and raised again and left in the day of Pentecost that year, 50 days after Passover, when he was the Passover lamb. That is the first time the Holy Ghost fear that began the last days, the last 2,000 years of the spiritual people of God. These are the last days. And those are the days. Now, we know in the Old Testament you had to be of us, of a particular lineage, you, you had to be of Israel in order to have God dealing with you on a physical relationship.
[00:31:01] Now we're getting to the part where God will deal with everybody, no matter what their ethnicity is, if they will obey the gospel that he authored on that cross.
[00:31:12] So now you don't have to be any particular lineage.
[00:31:18] You know, you could be from anywhere and you can be a part of God's spiritual family. The Bible says that those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
[00:31:35] Peter, I'm sorry. Paul explains this farther in Genesis. I'm sorry, Galatians, chapter 3, verse 28. Galatians 3, 28. And neither Jew nor Greek.
[00:31:50] There is neither bond nor free. There is neither male nor female. For ye are all one in Jesus Christ, meaning across every racial, ethnic, cultural boundary.
[00:32:04] So we can all be sons of God now, if we obey the gospel. So that's what that is telling us.
[00:32:12] Now, that's not a part of what I'm answering here. But I will add this. We know that, that the Bible talks about the latter reign and the former lane reign being greater in the very, very last of the last days in which we live. So, so just ahead of us, we're going to see revival and people coming truly coming to Jesus like we never thought we'd see. And it'll be a number so great that we can't number them. And so we can't. All the times we see in the Bible, we know it's 3,000 on the day of Pentecost, then 5,000 in Jerusalem, then we had some other people. But this is a number that no man could number.
[00:32:52] So we know that that's a part of the last days too. It began back at Peter's time because he said this is what he's talking about. They were looking at 2000 years ago. So it would have to be broken up into three different categories in order for him to say that 2,000 years ago, this is that. Well, we know that during that time, as we're approaching, we are approaching the time that you hear a lot more ministers say now, because we are approaching the time where the greatest revival the world has ever known is just ahead of us. So that's a part of what this is saying too.
[00:33:24] So that is what he's saying here. So the Holy Ghost is not poured out on everybody. Everybody needs to be born again. But we know that most of the people aren't.
[00:33:36] It's not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But we do know that most of these people are perishing against God's will. It's not God's will for somebody to be killing folks over in the Middle east anyway also. And so, so on and so forth. So that is what we can know by this. And that's what that means in the last days. It doesn't mean that everybody's going to be have God's spirit. It means that you don't have to be of a particular ethnicity or a particular group of people in order to be able to have it. That's what that is saying there.
[00:34:13] And so all we need to do to begin our relationship and become sons of God is to be born again the way the Bible says to do it. Now we have. We'll have to have other lessons in the future while we'll talk about just what we do. And so our middle of the week show, I'm working out Some things now with the podcast that you're watching me on now, there's some things behind the scenes with the constant work on to try to perfect so that we can bring you a quality presentation.
[00:34:40] So we're trying to get to so we can be consistent. But there is a beginning in all of these. The first of the week show, the midweek show, and now this. In the big show that you're listening to me on right now, we'll eventually get everything, runways, consistency.
[00:34:55] And I know that you're wanting to more because I get people saying we need you to be consistent. And so I'm going to be. And so that's what we're approaching. And so we'll be able to, to build that foundation, especially in our midweek show, to where, when we get to where we can talk about those other things that you need, what the Bible says you need, you'll have a foundation that we're able to continue on.
[00:35:19] Okay, the next question comes from Neil. He's calling from Memphis, Tennessee. Do you believe the Holy Ghost is necessary in today's modern times?
[00:35:31] Yes, I do.
[00:35:33] That's part of true Christian belief system that the Bible says it is. This is Romans, chapter 8, verse 11.
[00:35:42] But if the same spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you. So this scripture is speaking of the Rapture. And it is necessary to have the Holy Spirit for that purpose. So if that same spirit dwell in you to dwell in Jesus, it'll raise your body up on that last day just like it did his.
[00:36:14] So I would say that's absolutely necessary that we would have the Holy Ghost in the time that we live in, probably more so now than every time before, because we're closer now than we have ever been.
[00:36:28] And I believe that most of us listening to my voice now will be here to see it also. The opposite of that must be true.
[00:36:36] If you don't have the spirit of him that raised up Christ from the dead in your mortal body, then it will not raise you up on that day. So obviously that says right there the vital importance of the Holy Ghost. And we don't know when any of us may be caught somewhere. I may be heading out to the ice cream shop tonight and not look both ways before I get into intercession. The next thing you know, Jesus came for me that day. And so we certainly want to, to be ready. And that is the, the most important thing is Be ready whatever time that your Lord does call you. So the Holy Ghost is very necessary. This question is from Pat emailing from Macon, Georgia. You taught in one of your lessons that when Jesus returns, we will be kings, priests.
[00:37:24] How do we determine which we will be kings or priests?
[00:37:29] I don't believe that our assignment will be one or the other.
[00:37:35] I believe that we will be kings over specific territory and we'll be priests over specific people under our jurisdiction. The Bible talks about people who did great things with what they were given, shall have great things given to them. So that means you'll have greater territory. You might be king over 10 cities, you might be king over 12 cities if you did a little thing with what God gave you. You may be the king over a small county or town or whatever, but however many people live there, you will be the priest of those people, teaching them the ways of God. Which if we want to be a part of those people who are raptured and kings and priests, then it's up to us to learn the ways of the kingdom of God now so that we can be lifted up and be qualified in that kingdom of God to teach those people.
[00:38:27] So I don't believe it's one or the other. I think that that's an assignment that we will have. Both those assignments will be a part of our spiritual how we live in the future after the rapture and Jesus comes back and establishes his kingdom.
[00:38:47] Our next question is from Ruth. She's emailing from St. Paul, Minnesota. Where do you think the Bible teaches was the beginning of different cultures and different races?
[00:38:59] Well, it looks like to me that would have began at the time of the disobedience. You remember when after Noah landed and he and his wife and his three sons and their wives came off the ark and they were the beginning at that time of mankind again. And God had told those people to scatter out and replenish the earth.
[00:39:22] Well, you know, we know that 300 years had passed and they still hadn't gathered out. So we don't know how many hundreds or thousands of people were on the earth at that time.
[00:39:32] And so they started to build the tower. They were creating their own salvation. They said, you know what God we disobeying God, if he sends them to flesh flood, we may be destroyed like the last people. In spite that, God had told him he would not send another flood. But they didn't believe it because they were in disobedience.
[00:39:48] And so they decided to create their own salvation by building a.
[00:39:55] A tower. So God confounded their languages. And so we know that there were three sons of, of.
[00:40:02] Of Noah, Him, Shem and Japheth. The Bible tells us where they went after the confounding of the language. They were probably dead, but they're at their offspring were there.
[00:40:13] So we know that the children of Ham went into the south country, and so that's into Africa, South Asia. We know the descendants of J that went into the north country, North Asia and Europe.
[00:40:25] And we know that Shem remained in the Middle East.
[00:40:29] And so we know that the Lord continued to, to confound those people's languages even after that they continued to scatter because you had all those different people who are in those different places. We know that in Africa you have a lot of different tribes. You have the different tribes in different parts of Africa, in Asia, the same thing you have. And so, so God had to continue to confound those languages so that people will continue to spread out. We know that here in America, the barren land bridge, we have people with blood from Mongolia and all different kinds of places in the world who walked across that.
[00:41:12] So we know that God continued to do that and made a lot of the people of migrant people so that they would continue to scatter out.
[00:41:21] So we know like for instance, God father created races and different ethnicities because it would depend on our approximation where we are from the equator to how we looked. So now our appearance is about to change.
[00:41:39] So I'm of African descent, so and I think everybody know that for the people who are listening on the audio sources.
[00:41:46] And so my ancestors are darker skinned people that we're descendants of Hamilton and we went into the south country. And so we know that Africa is close to the equator. The equator is going to be the outermost part of what's closest to the sun.
[00:42:04] And so we had to develop a darker skin with more color pigment, melanin in our skin to be able to protect us from that heat.
[00:42:15] So we know we had that, we know that it's hotter. So probably in most parts of Africa is well over 100 degrees a lot of the year. So in order for the heat to escape out of our bodies, we have kinky hair that stands away from our scalp like a fro. And so we, that's a way for heat to escape our bodies.
[00:42:37] If I had straight hair, it would lay closer to my scalp and not allow that heat to dissipate from my body so easily.
[00:42:45] So having curly hair helps that most black people have wider nostrils. Well, we know where, where the heat is there's more buoyancy. Buoyancy causes heat to rise to the top. We know that if it's 100 degrees, then there's going to be more buoyancy. That's the particles that's in the air bouncing off each other and rising to the top. That's what makes a hot air balloon flat.
[00:43:09] So if I have a wider nostril that I'm able to take in more of the dissipating oxygen that's in the atmosphere.
[00:43:18] So all of those things are things that contributed not just the change of, of languages, but the way we looked. Different things that we developed in our cultures and different views, learning how to live under different circumstances which became a part of our lives which is different from someone else in from where they may live.
[00:43:41] But now we're starting to see a reversal of that because we know the end time talks about a one world governmental system that the Antichrist will be in charge of.
[00:43:52] And we are very rapidly approaching that. So continue to follow us and we're good. That's going to be a very important course of our study in the future.
[00:44:00] And so we're starting to see that now. For instance, if you want to fly as an international pilot, any airline, you have to be able to speak English. Now you can't speak some other language if you have to. If you want to be a part of communication and international operator in the world, you got to speak English. If you want to be a part of the international police, Interpol, you have to be able to speak English. So now us coming together with one language like the United nations have come to the conclusion that English will be the world language. And I think that was established at the time that Kofi Annan was the Secretary General of the United Nations. So it's already turning around and that's what brings us together.
[00:44:46] And so I believe that's an answer of how the different races and the different cultures and ethnicities develop. And I think we can trace it back to the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. And I believe that that is the time when those things became very, very prominent.
[00:45:07] And so. Okay, this question is from Michelle calling from El Paso, Texas. Do you believe that the giants from Noah's Day will become, will be back on the earth in the future once again?
[00:45:21] I don't believe that because the, the angels that cohabitated with human women at that time were removed from the earth. God removed those, those angels, then those demons, if you, whatever class of demon they were. And the flood came and destroyed the bloodline of those people who were the offspring of the women and those demonic angels. So. So I think that, you know, the scriptures say that God eliminated that and I doubt that God would eliminate something that would eventually work its way back into it. That means God didn't do a good enough job and his elimination of it. So I wouldn't look at it that way. And I would imagine too that, you know, people misunderstand scripture. A lot of people think that when it says as it was in the days of Noah social it be in it. But I think that's talking about what they were doing. They were living life as usual. It wasn't relating to the time of the giants. Now if you got some people who are just say you the tallest person, average person was five foot one and you saw somebody look like Shaq or the new NBA star women, Yama, that certainly would look like a giant to someone that size.
[00:46:40] But that's just a tall person. That's not the giant that the nephilims created back in that day. So no, I don't believe that they will ever reappear again to that magnitude or that species of giant. But that's an excellent question, Michelle and thank you for asking that question because those are questions that I get a lot of questions like that and that's something that people want to know and we talked about earlier of put of giving you the information of how to get your questions in.
