[00:00:17] Speaker B: I'm here to facilitate learning the word of God on a fundamental level.
So join me and let's grow together and build a relationship with our creator.
And that starts now.
Hello everybody.
[00:00:41] Speaker A: Welcome to an amazing thing. Thank you for joining me today.
This is a special show that we're bringing to you today. It's entitled A Nation with a Man's Heart. This is our 250th birthday here in America.
There's been 250 years of our recorded physical existence as an established country here.
There are a lot of things that went along with the establishment of this country. And one of the things that we're going to talk about today is deciding what our animal symbol was going to be.
One of our founding fathers, Ben Franklin, thought that it should be the turkey because the turkey is an ever moving, hard working animal.
It was unique to this country alone at that time. But the other founding fathers didn't agree with him. They wanted a more powerful, majestic animal to be our animal symbol. So at the time of the minting of the American seal in 1782, they came to the conclusion that they wanted it to be the bald eagle, which is our American symbol.
Those men didn't understand the time, but Almighty God, the creator of the universe, 2300 years prior to their decision to, to make the the bald eagle our American symbol.
The United States was prophesied in the Bible 25:50 years ago from our vantage point of looking back.
And so we know that In Daniel chapter 7 verses 2 through 6, around 550 BC under the rule of Belshazzar. Belshazzar was the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar, the ruler of Babylon. So now he's taken over. And at this time Daniel had a dream. And in the dream he saw four beasts coming up out of a body of water that's moving.
He saw a bear, a lion, a leopard and a tin horn beast. Now the tin horn beast was not something he'd ever seen before. So he couldn't say it looked like a possum or a rhinoceros or something. So he just said it was a ten horn beast.
God gives Daniel this information in symbols. And so we have to be able to look into the word of God and determine from the symbols what these things mean in Daniel chapter 7, verse 23.
Thus he said, the fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon the earth, and it shall be different from all the other kingdoms or the beast and shall devour the whole earth. And shall tread it down and break it in pieces. So the fourth beast, the fourth beast is a country. So that lets us know that if the fourth beast is a country or a kingdom, that all the other beasts are countries and kingdoms as well.
The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on the earth. And that's not what we're talking about today. We will have to have another show dedicated to that alone.
But we'll continue here. These four beasts are kingdoms and shall be on the earth at the same time. Because that's the time that, that's what we see from the image of these animals that Daniel saw come out of the strove in the ocean and came up out of there.
And so the fourth beast is going to grow into something that the lacks of which we have never seen before.
And so in our next lesson, we'll cover that in our next early week lesson. But for now, let's, let's look at the first beast.
The first beast is found in Daniel, chapter seven, verse four.
The first beast was like a lion and had eagle's wings. And I beheld till the eagle's wings were plucked and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on his feet as a man. And a man's heart was given to it.
There's quite a lot in scripture that we can look for and try to break this down. Now we know Daniel watched these beasts.
One of them looked like a lion. And we could have to remember the beast, our kingdom. So one of the kingdoms look like a lion. And the only beast kingdom that's ever had a prominent lion look we know is Great Britain.
That still is their animal symbol.
We heard Richard the Lionhearted. Everybody's heard those stories. We know that in Trafalgar Square there are four lines looking all four directions in London. So there's no misunderstanding that that's what their animal symbol is.
And so we can start from there.
In this scripture, it tells us that the lion had eagles wings.
So we know the eagle is the animal symbol of the United States of America.
Great Britain is our mother country. So this is quite easy. Now once we start to put these things together to see what God is trying to show us here.
Daniel saw the eagle's wings being plucked from the lion.
And this is an amazing thing because scriptures, this scripture happens to be in Daniel, chapter seven, verse four, which we know our Independence Day is July, the seventh month, the fourth day in 1776. So if God has a sense of humor, here it is.
And I'm sure he wanted to make it easy for us to find it. So he kind of help us along with that. The Bible says, daniel watched the eagle's wings, and they were made to stand up on their feet as a man.
So this meaning denotes a man is divided in more than one attribute. So we have a man who has integrity as strength, bravery, and the ability to reason.
So all those are attributes that a man has. Now, that being said, the United States has been looked at as the world's police for a long time.
When some countries wronged are being wronged in some way, the United States is always the one who stands up to protect and defend the people of that nation.
Around the world.
Our national anthem says, America, the home of the free, the home of the brave.
So we are the freest people on the face of the earth because we are the bravest people on the face of the earth, without comparison. Because there hasn't been anyone in the four corners of the earth that we hasn't. We haven't helped our help to end some tyranny that's going on there. So certainly we would be looked at that way.
So we've rescued and defended people all around the globe.
The scripture also tells us that a man's heart was given to it, to those two wings.
You know, let's take note that it says the heart of a man and not the heart of a beast. And so this is one thing that differentiates us from other nations. You know, we have always had the heart of a man. There have been many times America's been caught up in wars around the world and, and. And had to go in and do some bombing and different fighting in some aspect or other. But we have a tendency to build things back better than they were when we had to destroy them to stop the tyranny that was going on there.
And so that certainly is a man's heart, a heart of compassion. So there's no other place on earth that that can boast that in just about everything that we've been involved in, United States of America is owed a great debt of gratitude by probably everybody on the face of the earth.
And that is why we can appreciate that God said, a man's heart was given to this great country.
Now, to balance the scales, we have to talk about some of the terrible things and atrocities that America has been involved in.
These things are constantly being brought up, especially now in the polarizing times that we live in right now. But we know we had slavery along the way, segregation, assassinations of our leaders.
So to balance the scale, all Countries have blights, injustices and just plain terrible actions. In America is no different.
So throughout history, United States have attempted to right the courses of these wrongs.
So, you know, sometimes it takes a little longer than what people would have it to take to correct some of these things, but nevertheless, they have been corrected. We fought the bloodiest war that was ever fought in this country.
It was the Civil War, and it was the bloodiest war ever fought on this continent. And that was fought to right the wrong of slavery. A lot of people died there.
So that's an attempt to right a wrong that people constantly are charging this country with.
And so we fought the civil rights movement and that certainly was something that needed to be thought of. The end segregation and to fortify equal rights for all of the American citizens. So we did that in many other ways. We continue to right wrongs that we've perpetrated here in this country.
We have the Chinese Exclusion act of 1882, which prevented Chinese laborers from become nationalized citizens until 1943.
And those people spent decades building this country, but that they could never be a citizen of.
And we corrected that in 1943. So like I said, there's been blights in this country that we've done, but we have done all we could to.
To.
To correct those things. And that is something that you certainly could say. A man's heart was given to and many, many other things that we can say too many to list here. And we are continuing to correct things and fix things that we've been involved in for so very long. Especially we fought wars and things all over the world.
And so, you know, you may never thought of these scriptures that we're going to be, that we have written gonna be reading as a part of America. Not many ministers and t Bible teachers and things have understood these prophecies of modern nations that are in the Bible. But they are there.
And God explains this particular point to Daniel in the last chapter of the book of Daniel. This is Daniel, chapter 12, verses 8 and 9.
And I heard, but understood not, then said I, O Lord, what should be the end of these things? And he said, go thy way, Daniel, for these words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
So Daniel himself really didn't understand what God was saying here.
The prophecies were meant to be understood by the people of the time of the fulfillment of the prophecy. Bible scholars and teachers for probably go back 60 years didn't understand these prophecies because it wasn't even meant for them.
But we are understanding these prophecies now because we are the generation that are that's going to see these things come to pass. And we already seeing them come to pass.
And so that is an amazing thing. We're not smarter than those people, but we're dealing with the time clock of God here. He in his word fixed it so that the people who would be on the earth at the time of the beginning throughout the fulfillment of these prophecies would understand.
And it's been that way probably since prophecy was given. We know that the prophet Joel gave the prophecy about God pouring out his spirit on all flesh would be able to receive that. But nobody understood that. Probably Joel didn't either until Peter on in Acts chapter two explained it. This is that that was spoken by the prophet Joel. So they were the people who were beginning to experience that wonderful aspect of God's prophecy. And they understood it because it was meant for them at their time. So and the same thing was here in this. Daniel learned by the reading of books that the fulfillment of their Babylonian captivity was nearing an end.
He had the prophecy, but the ability to understand it happened toward the end of their captivity when he looked at the books and said, oh my God, it's about that time for us to to be getting out of Babylonian captivity.
So it seems that prophecies that way probably not all the time, but most of the time that is something we can use to see. And we are understanding these things now and teaching this lesson here. So shows that we are the people that are going to see these things come to pass and other places. The eagle, the United States of America appears in scripture.
And there are more magnificent things that God has planned for this wonderful country that are in this scripture that we're going to cover. Here is a couple of more scriptures that we can see. Some of the things that we are prophesied to be a part of.
This is Revelation chapter 12, verse 14.
And the woman speaking of Israel were given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness into her place where she is nourished for time, times and half a time from the face of the serpent. Now we know the Bible tells us the serpent is Satan himself. He's trying to destroy the country of Israel.
Now this is talking about a times just ahead. The great Tribulation. Know the Bible tells us that the great Tribulation will last three and a half years in one scripture. One scripture here says time times and a half a times. That's three and a half years a time is one Year times is two years, a half a time is half a year, that's three and a half years. And another place it says 42 months was given to him. One place it says 1260 days. So there's no argument on the length of time of the Great Tribulation. Now a lot of people believe that the Great Tribulation will last for seven years because of Daniel's 70th week is prophesied in scripture. But the whole seven years is not Great Tribulation. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 that in the middle of the final seven years is when the Great Tribulation begins. So that's what this scriptures is saying here, that she'll be nourished all the way through to the end of that time by the wings of a great eagle. So that means the United States is in a protection mode over Israel all the way through the Great Tribulation, which lets us know that the United States will still have power that time. Now we've had other lessons where we talked about the things that are just ahead of us. One of them is that powerful war of a third where one third of mankind is supposed to be demolished. So we know this happens after that because this final three and a half years happens at the end of the final seven years before the return of Jesus Christ in the battle of Armageddon. So we know we come through that and maintain enough power to protect Israel from the world.
And when the Bible talks about this now this is talking about a time just ahead of us when Satan is persecuting them. But Israel's place is where she is right now.
And it's where she's been in recent times, since 1948. But we know that 4,000 years ago God told Abraham, the land that you're walking on right now is going to be yours and your descendants forever.
So we know that this is Israel is in her place right now, is the place that was prophesied by God 4000 years ago to Abraham and also to Isaac and to Jacob.
So we can know that that's what that is talking about. The Bible says she's protected by the wings of a great eagle, meaning the all of the armaments that Israel uses are given to him by the United States of America. The, the Patriot missiles, you know where that, that helps them with their iron dome system because the rockets are raining down from up in Lebanon from the Hezbollah and those places. So those are Patriot missiles that are made by the United States of America.
And also we have to remember that Since World War II there are five Victor nations that have veto power when they come up with these condemnations of Israel and they want to condemn Israel for different things that Israel's been involved in, mostly protecting themselves.
The United States has had to veto things that other countries have been trying to into to put, you know, as far as to condemn Israel and to punish them for, for their, them trying to prolong their own survival. And, and the United States has used that veto power time and time again.
So that is certainly Israel being protected by the wings of a great eagle. So we're still there.
And like I said, there are troubling times for Israel ahead and it seems like America is going to be there to protect them and help them throughout the time that's just ahead of us. Now, as you should be a friend of Israel.
You know, we are the best friend that Israel has on the face of the earth and that is the reason for our great wealth and our prosperity here.
You know, we think about ourselves here in America, that we have some of the greatest forefathers and the craftsmanship of those forefathers through throughout the Industrial revolution helped us to become a great nation. And we think about the inventiveness and the creativeness of the things that we're doing right now. But that is not the reason that the United States is the greatest country on the face of the earth.
It's because of our friendship with Israel.
And the reason we can know that is In Genesis chapter 12, verse 3, this is God speaking. And I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse of thee.
And in the shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Now this is the promise that God has given to Abraham about him and the future of his people.
And so certainly that is one of the reasons why we have all the wonderful blessings that we have here in America. Now other countries has helped Israel along the way with different things, but we have been a constant help these modern times. And that is the reason, according to this scripture, for the, the great wealth and all the wonderful things that we have here in this country.
Now there is an anti Israel, antisemitic sentiment growing here in America and around the world.
And so we should never be a part of anything like that because God says that we should be Israel's friend and those who are blessing Israel will be blessed. So we still have great things to do that's just ahead of us. We got a lot of great things to do and we're going to do them.
And we'll be back and talk some more about this after this message.
