[00:00:01] I'm Rich Young iii. And this is an amazing thing. [00:00:17] I am here to facilitate learning the Word of God on a fundamental level. [00:00:23] So join me and let's grow together and build a relationship with our Creator. [00:00:29] And that starts now. [00:00:40] Hello, everybody, and welcome to an amazing thing. Thank you for joining me today. This is our midweek show, our continual Bible study show. [00:00:48] This lesson is entitled The Beginning, Part 4. [00:00:53] Man's Cultivating a Relationship with God. And so we'll continue from where we left off last week. [00:01:00] If you remember, we had Adam and Eve disobeying God along with the serpent. [00:01:07] A failure of them to take responsibility and repent over what they had done. So they made excuses. [00:01:14] So unrepentant sin, we've learned, always brings judgment. And we'll see it throughout the word of God. [00:01:20] And so judgment had to be dispensed upon them. [00:01:25] After that, we know that their two sons, Cain and Abel, came of age and were bringing their sacrifices, which was their worship before God. [00:01:36] One of their sacrifices was accepted. Abel's was accepted, but Cain's was not. [00:01:43] And so we'll find that when we are interacting with people even today, when you tell someone their worship is not correct or they're not baptized, right, or something, you have a fight on your hands. And this is the case here. And in this case, it wasn't somebody else that told them. God himself told Cain that his worship or his offering was not acceptable. And the reason his offering was not accepted, he was a farmer. He didn't have any animals. [00:02:17] So he would have had to go to his brother and trade some, some vegetables for one of his lambs. He would have had to do that. And there was nothing wrong with that. [00:02:27] But he made it look like that was just too much trouble. [00:02:32] And so he thought that his offering should be good enough. [00:02:37] And when God calls him on that, he doesn't like it. And so that's where we take it up now. [00:02:43] And so we are here because when we say that God, you know, resists the proud and brings in and gives grace to the humble, well, we know what we're about to see. We don't see any humble attitude from Cain at all. And so now we move into the world's first murder here. This is Genesis, chapter four, verse eight. [00:03:08] And Cain talked with his brother, and it came to pass that when they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and slew him. [00:03:19] Well, see, Cain lured Abel out into the field and killed him. That's what happened. And so sin always produces a terrible outcome. And when we sin, we have to talk to God about it someday. We all going to have to talk to God about it someday. Whether in this, the time that we live in or afterwards, we're going to have to talk to God about it. And God's judgment will have to come into play here. [00:03:46] God showed up like he always did. God had a certain time that he would interact with his children here or with the people of the earth. At this point God says, cain, where is your brother? [00:04:01] Cain answers, God backs out, am I my brother's keeper? [00:04:07] And that's a smart mouth way of answering him. And yes, you are. Because they remember there's two central laws that the Bible covers. [00:04:18] My relationship with my fellow human being and my relationship with God. So yes, you are your brother's keeper. [00:04:27] And God for your brother's life is in his blood and his blood is screaming at me. [00:04:33] I'm giving you an opportunity to explain yourself and repent over what you've done. And of course Cain refuses to do that. [00:04:43] So God is done because he gives an opportunity. And we just can't keep going through this disobedience and not having severe consequences. And God has the ability to look in people's hearts. [00:04:59] He looks down in Cain's heart and just comes to the conclusion, cain, I'll never speak to you again. [00:05:07] Just go. [00:05:09] And so, and Cain says to the Lord, my punishment is greater than I can bear. [00:05:17] And so now his, his life is worthless because you know if you lose your relationship with the Lord, then that there's nothing useful that can come of a person's life. [00:05:29] So in Mark 8:36, it says, what good is it if you gain the whole world and lose your soul? [00:05:39] That's a terrible thing. [00:05:40] So that's where King finds himself, up here. [00:05:44] Now we, you know, we have to spend a whole lot of time on this because this is a negative aspect of man and their relationship with God. And starting off very, very poor. [00:05:55] And so we're going to move on to the next aspect of God's word, which is men begin to call upon the name of the Lord. Here, this is Genesis chapter 4, verses 25 and 26 and 8. And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore him a son and called his name Seth. [00:06:13] For God said, she had appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom cain slew, verse 26. And said to him also, there was born a son, and he called his name Enos. [00:06:31] Then men begin to call upon the name of the Lord. [00:06:36] What that man means is people begin to pray and seek a relationship with God and fellowship with Him. [00:06:44] So after this we get, you know, people wanting to, to grow in their relationship, their knowledge of God and to grow in their relationship with Him. [00:06:55] Men begin to put trust in God. Proverbs 18:4 says that the name of God, of the Lord, is a strong tower and the righteous run into it and they are safe. [00:07:08] So we have to have a relationship with God in order to be able to run into him, to be able to know what we ought to do. This is Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 6. The person that comes to God must first believe that he is and that he's a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. So we have to believe in God the first thing we have to do. And we also have to believe that God answers prayer or we can't even begin the relationship with him that he would want us to have. [00:07:40] Now we're going to move on. And talked about someone who had a splendid relationship with God. Enoch walked with God. This is found in Genesis, chapter 5, verse 24. [00:07:52] And Enoch walked with God, and he was not for God took him. [00:07:59] Enoch was translated, so God carried him with him. [00:08:04] God would show up and converse with Enoch. And Enoch, for the time that he lived, there was not much more that Enoch can do on this earth. Not much more he could learn. [00:08:15] He was already doing everything that God had asked him to do, and he did it with joy. And so God just said, enoch, why don't you come go home with me? [00:08:24] And Enoch said, okay. [00:08:26] And they went home. And Enoch never died. And so he went, he was translated from flesh right into spirit. [00:08:34] And so that's what being translated means. He translated them from flesh to the spirit. He spent that time with God, went right into the presence of God. So that's a good thing. We have the oldest man in history was called Methuselah. [00:08:49] Enoch was the father of Methuselah. And Methuselah live 969 years. [00:08:56] Some scholars say that the, that the name Methuselah means when this child dies, the judgment of God will fall. [00:09:07] And so according to most scholars who've added these things up, Methuselah died the same year that the flood came. [00:09:16] And so it seemed that God wanted to prolong bringing judgment on man, because that's going to be a separation. And, and to the people on the earth who failed to repent, it was much repentant going on anyway. And so God just didn't want to pass judgment upon man. So he allowed Methuselah live a Long, long time. [00:09:40] And so that's an amazing thing. And it seems God always wants to have mercy on us. I had a client once who came to me for years and, and I would talk about biblical things a lot. And no matter what we were talking about, I wouldn't, would somehow connect it with, with biblical things. And so she was upset and she stopped coming to me. And then a year or two passed and she came back and she said, rich, I don't know why God brought me back to you. [00:10:12] And I didn't say this openly to her, but in my mind I was thinking, God is having judgment on you because you're growing old. She was very elderly at that time. And so I spent every aspect of when she came to see me at the shop trying to talk about the things that were needful to her and, and I did that and, and she's passed away now, but. [00:10:39] And I miss her very, very much. But anyway, to get back to the lesson here, Adam dies. This is Genesis, chapter 5, verse 5. [00:10:51] And the days of Adam were 930 years and he died. [00:10:55] Adam died 57 years before Enoch was translated. So they lived a long time together, got to spend some time together and talk together. [00:11:05] Adam died when Methuselah was 241 years old. So that's great, great grandchildren. And you know, we tend the time that we live in not to be able to. [00:11:17] Spent a lot of time with our grandparents and stuff. We hear stories that our parents tell about when they were kids and their grandparents were, were alive. But these people living these long lives got the opportunity to spend time with their grandparents, great, great, great grandparents as well. So Adam died 128 years before Noah was born. [00:11:40] So he died 728 years before the flood. [00:11:45] So God has deduced from his relationship and the longevity of man that man's lifespan needs to be shortened. [00:11:56] You know, it's one thing to get better as we get older, but mankind seemed to get worse as we got older. [00:12:04] And so God reduces man's lifespan. This is Genesis, chapter six, verse three. [00:12:10] And the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for he is also flesh, yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. [00:12:21] So that's quite a reduction that in, in, in the lifespan to go from Adam living 930 years, Methuselah, 969. [00:12:32] Noah, you know, living 700 years before the flood even came to 120 years. [00:12:39] So that is quite a reduction there. So God concludes that the longer human beings live, the more evil they became. They become, instead of learning how to be better, human beings learn how to be worse. [00:12:54] And that's a sad state of affairs too. So God concludes that he must reduce that lifespan. [00:13:01] And so God is a spirit and sees that his relationship with man, flesh is immortal flesh. It doesn't want to. To do spiritual things. Flesh is flesh and spirit is spirit. And flesh and spirit is immortal. Hatred between each other. And God concludes this. So that's constantly strife. [00:13:22] And so God sees his relationship as a futile one. [00:13:26] And so God repents, making man. He get. Finally gets to the point to watch God. I'm sorry I made these people. [00:13:33] They've been nothing but trouble to me since they've been on the face of the earth. And so he's sorry he did. He does this. This is Genesis, chapter 6, verses 5 and 6. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and every imagination and the thought of his heart was only evil continually. [00:13:55] And he repented. He was sorry the Lord that he had made man on the earth. And it grieved him in his heart. You know, it's one thing to. [00:14:06] To have some regret over them, but it's grieving you in your heart that's. That's taking it to the other level. [00:14:12] So every thought of man was. Was evil and wickedness. [00:14:18] And the. The every thought of the man's heart was evil and wickedness. And so that's a terrible place to be. [00:14:26] So the word of God continually talks about men doing what was right in his own heart, in his own mind, instead of what God told him was right. And that seems to be the theme for humankind throughout time. And it's still going on today. [00:14:46] So when the word of God refers to man's heart is not referring to the instrument that pumps blood. It's in his chest. He's talking about a man's heart, his will and his desire to do what it is. That's what God is talking about here. He's not talking about a pumping heart, but it's the thought of his man and of his being to do what's right. [00:15:08] And so that is continuing wickedness and unwilling to receive God or his word. [00:15:16] So God decides to destroy man. Look, I'm sorry I did this. Let me just go ahead and end this thing now. This is Genesis, chapter six, verse seven. [00:15:26] And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I created from the face of the earth, both man and beast and creepy things and the fowls of the air, for it repented me. I'm sorry that I made them. [00:15:42] That's a sad state of affairs. When we get so bad that God is sorry he made us, that's a pretty terrible thing. [00:15:49] A pretty terrible state of being in our relationship with God has fallen so far that way. [00:15:57] But we constantly hear people say things like, you know, God would, would save man. Even if it was just you, God would find a way. [00:16:08] Well, we're about to find out that that is absolutely the truth. Because when God does it one time that big, that is his nature. And we can know exactly what God would do when it's us or a bygone error. [00:16:28] So we'll find out as soon as we come back from this message. [00:17:26] Thank you so much. [00:17:34] Welcome back everybody. We're going to continue with our lesson here. [00:17:39] Just as we left, God repents that he made man. He's decided to just end it all and destroy man. Every creeping thing, every animal and the thing that was made for God's pleasure. [00:17:53] And those things, animals and things were made for us. And so there's not going to be a human being here. We don't need anything else either. [00:18:01] But let's continue here. Noah finds grace in God's sight. This is Genesis, chapter 6, verse 8, 9. [00:18:09] But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. [00:18:13] These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation. And Noah walked with God. [00:18:22] That's a pretty amazing thing here. When Noah walked with God, Enoch walked with God. I think we should want to walk with God. [00:18:31] That's a wonderful thing we see throughout the Word of God, people walking with him. [00:18:35] God instructs Noah to build an ark. [00:18:39] And so just as demands a penalty for the world for its iniquity. [00:18:46] You know, it's not, I hear people say all the time, God love us so much, all these different things. But justice. God is a just God. [00:18:54] And justice demands judgment for iniquity. Unrepentant sin. And so. But when we find righteousness that also demands protection from God and Noah for his righteousness, God changes his mind about the, the earth and whatnot. God knows how to distinguish the difference between people who are doing right and people who love the world and love the world's wickedness. And so a lot of times we see ourselves as, as good people. [00:19:28] But the word of God is what we should look to to find out how we put what we are, how our opinions are shaped by the world and not by God. So we should be able to look at that and determine how God sees it. This is Genesis chapter 6, verses 14 and 15. [00:19:49] Make an ark of gopher wood. Rooms shalt thou make in the ark and shall pitch it within and without with pitch pitches like a tar like substance. [00:20:00] And this is, is the fashion which thou shall make of it. The length of the ark should be 300 cubits. That's about 450ft. [00:20:11] The breadth of it should be about 50 cubits. That's about 75ft wide. [00:20:17] And the height of it would be about 30 cubits, which is about 45ft high. So about three stories high. I was told by someone who had did the calculations for this structure size and they said it would be equal to about 144 train boxcars is how much this would hold. [00:20:38] So that's a pretty substantial structure. [00:20:43] It had one door, you know, God's plan of salvation in every dispensation. We'll talk about these things in the future. They always had one door, one way, you know, one window at the top. [00:20:56] Keeps our eye on him. [00:20:58] Judgment is provided by God of his plan of salvation. [00:21:03] So God reminds us to, in this situation to keep to the pattern. Every time he instructed some people to build something or do something for the kingdom of God. Stick to the pattern. [00:21:14] Build your salvation the way I said to build it. You don't have the authority to change the, the width of your salvation or the height of your salvation. And this is a lesson for us here to understand that. And I'm going to stop throughout these lessons to point these kinds of things out. [00:21:31] So Noah was building his salvation. [00:21:34] This is the size of the salvation. Now God has the ability to look in man's heart to see who is this wicked and wants to do right and who wants to do wrong. Now God gave Noah the dimensions of this. [00:21:50] Obviously it was the size for the, in the dimension of the people who are going to submit to God's plan. [00:21:58] So obviously God had seen the heart of other people, looked into Them to see if they wanted a salvation to God's salvation for the life. They didn't want it. So God instructed them how big to make it. And that's a pretty amazing conclusion to come to. [00:22:17] You know, you got to think of another family, decided, well, you know, we're wicked, let's go down and help Noah. Well, he probably would have had to make another room on top of the place or something for those people. But God saw the heart of men and knew that that wouldn't be necessary. [00:22:31] When God provides a plan of salvation, it's the best salvation that is available for us. And so God is not looking to give us a bargain salvation. We should not be looking to for an alternative salvation to what the best salvation is. [00:22:48] And, you know, we've continued to know in these lessons that, you know, we know that Noah was preaching to these people all while he was building. It took quite a while to build this. [00:23:01] And so the people didn't want to submit to what God said salvation was even then. [00:23:08] And so many times the congregation like to pit, likes to pigeonhole their pastors, and they don't want him preaching and teaching unpleasant things because it goes against the way they want to live, the things that they enjoy doing. So they'll ask their pastor not to preach on things. And so that's not something we should be doing. We should have our pastors and love our pastors who preach it all, because this is our salvation in the word of God that God called minister is preaching and teaching us. [00:23:43] Okay, we're going now to the the flood. Now, Noah has been working here. He's built and completed the ark here. [00:23:51] This is Genesis, chapter 7, verses 11 and 12 in the 600th year of Noah's life. In the second month, the 17th day of the month, and the same day were the fountains of the great deep broken up and the windows of heaven were opened and the rain was upon the worth 40 days and 40 nights. So this lets us know that the rain came from both ways. It rained from above and the earth broke up and water came from the atmosphere below. So water was coming from both ways. So we think of the worst floods and tsunamis and things that we've ever experienced that we can know about. This was much worse than that because it engulfed the whole earth. [00:24:36] Noah and his three sons and their wives and Noah's wife and all the animals that the Lord had, that Noah preserved, seven of every clean kind and two of every unclean kind, and so forth to bring to preserve the creation of God. So These is what, what, what Noah had on the ark. He had Noah, his wife, his three sons, their wives, and seven of the clean animals, two of the unclean animals, and so forth. And the Bible says that God shed to the door. [00:25:15] When God closes the door, no man can open it. And a lot of times we tend to play Russian roulette with our souls while we do what we want to do. We'll, we'll do what God says a later date. [00:25:27] But that's a very, very dangerous thing to do. And, and we want to live for God. All the days of our life all died, except those in the ark. [00:25:40] This is Genesis, chapter 7, verse 21:24. And all the flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl and of cattle and of beast, and every creeping thing that creeped upon the earth, every man. [00:25:55] And Noah only remained alive and they that were with him in the ark. And the water prevailed on the earth 150 days. [00:26:04] So that's how long the water was on the earth, 158 days until it started to dissipate. And so the, the total amount of time that Noah spent on the ark was 1 year and 15 days. [00:26:19] By the calculations of most theologians, they all agree that it was about a. One year, 15 days. So it's just a 380 days or so. [00:26:29] Remember, this is a type and shadow of being in the church, saved by God, being on the ark, saved in the time of Noah. There were fragrances on that ark, you know, with all those animals on there, everything that was there. And there was a lot of annoyances. You, you know, it had to be with the people on there on a small, you know, it was a, it was a nice size structure. But to not be able to go out of that structure for a long period of time, you know, they were annoyed with different things from time to time. [00:27:00] But it was better to be on the ark saved than it was outside where the rest of the people were. And so sometimes we use this as an example. Sometimes things don't go the we see things is not going so well in the church. [00:27:16] But I think I'd rather be in the church and saved and doing what God would have me to do than to be outside with the people who are disobeying and are going to come up against judgment. [00:27:27] Okay, we're going to get now to God's covenant that he gave to us in the form of a rainbow. This is Genesis, chapter 9, verses 11 and 13. [00:27:38] And I will establish my covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be Cut off any more by the water of a flood. [00:27:47] Neither shall there be any more a flood to destroy the earth. I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a token of covenant between me and the earth. [00:28:00] Now this is a covenant that God, he would know longer. Cover the whole earth with flood. Now we know there have been floods since that time. You know, we have, at the time of this recording, we just had a flash flood in South Texas where the. The Lazy river flows. And a lot of. There was a lot of destruction there, a lot of loss of life that. It breaks my heart to even think about those girls. But we know the whole world is never going to be destroyed again, the whole earth by a flood. And every time we see that bow in the air, we know that God keeps his covenants with us. [00:28:44] And so that's an amazing thing. Every time we see that bowl, we know God is re establishing that covenant they made with us. [00:28:51] So we now we will see the earth destroyed again, but it'll be destroyed by fire this time. And at that time, there will be no more humanity to live on the earth. So there won't be a need if there's no more human beings, you won't need a place for human beings to live. And I put it that way. [00:29:09] So this is Genesis, chapter 10, verse 1, and also verse 32. [00:29:14] Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth. And unto them sons were born after the flood. [00:29:27] And we know that God sent them to different parts of the world. Ham went into the south country, into Africa. [00:29:35] Japheth traveled into the North, North Europe and North Asia. [00:29:40] And Shem remained in the Middle east and became the father of the Jewish people as well as the Arabs. [00:29:47] So Shem is their ancestor. [00:29:50] Every person on the earth can trace our lineage back to one of those three men. [00:29:56] So there's also. There's a word that we use to. [00:30:01] It's a negative word that they use toward the descendants of Shim. Anti Semitism. [00:30:08] And you know, anti. A Semite is a shamite, so that's where that comes from. [00:30:13] So when you see someone who has anti Semitism, which we're seeing that flare once again on the earth in different parts of the world, they have racial prejudice toward the. Some of the descendants of Shem. And I say some of the descendants because the Arabs are also descendants of Shem. [00:30:35] And so. But we don't see the same type of hatred for them as we do the Jewish people. And so that is where that comes from. The Antisemitism comes from them being a part of the descendants of Shim is where that comes from. [00:30:54] And so that is an amazing thing to me, especially after we've all seen the things of a recent history. We go back to Nazi Germany, those kinds of things, and to see that again starting to flare its ugly head is a, is a despicable thing. And I think it should be called out as being a despicable thing. And we're seeing that on a lot of the college campuses now. [00:31:18] And it's a terrible thing. [00:31:22] Now we move on. God tells these people to scatter out now. He told him, Shem and Japheth to scatter out their kids. They started having kids, they had their wives and whatnot to scatter out. But now we know it's a whole city for the people here, enough to start building a tower. [00:31:45] So that means they've been here for hundreds to hundred years. They still hadn't done what God told them to do. And I'm going to go ahead and read this. This is Genesis, chapter 11, verses 1 and then verse 4. And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech. [00:32:01] And they said, go, let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach into the heavens. [00:32:09] Let us make a name, lest we would be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. [00:32:16] Now God asked these people to scatter out and replenish the whole earth. They said we don't want to scatter out, we want to stay together. [00:32:23] We feel more secure in cities, you know, so they feel better to depend on themselves for their security and their salvation rather than dependent on God being obedient to his instruction. So they wanted a self government situation. [00:32:41] So self rule the protection of the people of the earth. You know, they feel like they had the right to do things they way, you know, that, that, you know, that was once good for somebody else. But we think we can do it. And that's what we're, what we're dealing with then. And that's also what we're dealing with now. So when people dissipate, you know, they say, well we, we disobeying God, he may send another flood. [00:33:06] Now what they said was, he in case he sends another flood, we'll build a tower, let him send it and we'll run the tower, save ourselves. [00:33:15] I'm sure this sounds exaggerated, but it was just happened just this way. So they build a city. They said, we disobeying God so he could possibly send a flood. We'll let him send it if he does we'll run the tower, save ourselves. [00:33:31] You know, what you do is good for you. This is what we do for us. And we. I'm a good person and so this is the way these people felt. So this is the origin of man made religion right here. Mystery Babylon is still referred to as man made religion. Throughout the book of Revelation we're constantly referring to that because this is the first time we establish man made religion right here. And Mystery Babylon is considered man made religion. And that's going to be a thing that's just ahead of us in the time that we live here. [00:34:06] Almost every time we see the word social in front of something, we're depending on ourselves. [00:34:14] Social justice, Social Security, social this and social that. And so we want to solve our own problems instead of solving them and living the way God and his Word asked us to do it. [00:34:26] So the word of God is the ultimate security. [00:34:29] It's a strong tower. If we're righteous doing what God said, we run into his Name, His Word, and we are safe. And you know, these people want to get together because there is a power in unity. [00:34:42] This is Genesis, chapter 11, verse 6. [00:34:45] And the Lord said, behold, this people is one and they have all one language. And this is the beginning of what they began to do. [00:34:55] And now nothing will restrain them to do which they have imagined to do. [00:35:01] The power of unity is a very, very strong thing here. [00:35:05] And so nothing can stop the power of unity. But if unity is for the bad, that means where we'll end up is going to be much worse down the road in a more powerful way. [00:35:18] And so, you know, it's an amazing thing. So what these people are doing and they're designed to do is anti God. [00:35:27] It's strong, it's, it's powerful, but it's anti God. Even today when we hear the term like globalism instead of national boundaries, so when we hear globalism to the humankind on the earth, that sounds like a good thing. [00:35:44] We can depend upon ourselves for our salvation and all these different kinds of things. But national boundaries is a good thing. That's what God sees about it. And a lot of times too, when we see leaders of the world who tend to lean toward that type of just say globalism, for instance, that is more God's way. And most people don't know that it is God's way. And so they look at the leaders who want to perpetuate globalism and national statehood as being anti globalism, anti social, whatever it is. And they see that as being terrible, but actually it's not. And most of us, you know, we have to study the word of God to find out what is good for us and what is not. [00:36:32] And so that's what we have to do here. So we were studying the future unity for the good. [00:36:38] Like on the day of Pentecost, they were in the upper room all in one accord. So that was something for the good. [00:36:45] But we also learned that sometimes when we unify with things that are for the bad, that's a terrible thing. [00:36:52] God's people have to learn to be unified for the good in these last days, because we are living in the last days at the time we're recording this. So, so now let's look at Babylon. [00:37:06] This is Genesis chapter 11, verse 7 through 9. [00:37:11] Let us go down and confound their language that they may not understand one another's speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad, hence from up in the place on all the earth, and they left building. The city therefore is named Babel, which means confusion. God confused the language of the people, so therefore they scattered out. You know, that's one thing that tends to have distrust sometimes. You know, we've all stood in the, in the line at Walmart or wherever you shop for things and we hear people speaking some language behind us and it's even though we accept it because in cities that we live in now, we all or interact on a daily basis with people who are from somewhere else. But you know, we think about, we listen to what they're saying and you think, what are they talking about? I don't know what that lady says, looked at me and said something sound like dog. [00:38:13] And so we tend to not trust those things. And God knew that. And so that's what he did to confound the languages so that the people would scatter out. So, so God has to go down and disrupt their unity because if they achieve their goal, the world government horrible tyranny would manifest and there would ultimately be a man or woman that would be over this situation, which would be anti God situations. What they'd be over and would result in the Antichrist being established long before it was time for an antichrist. [00:38:53] So God is a stickler for time. And if I leave these people alone, that is what's going to happen to them. Or did they say that saying that? They say, I'll think of it in a minute. But anyway, God goes down and he confounds their soul to avoid this tyranny that would be on the earth. [00:39:18] Absolute power. Absolutely. That whole saying, we've all Heard that power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. And so that's what God is preventing here. So God knows this is a, this is bad for mankind. He decides that he wants to stop this. [00:39:34] Even in the time that we live in now, we see things taking place using our own judgment instead of God's judgment. But what we think these things are good, you know, to verify the what, what leader is good and we all think we're good without even wanting to research what God says. This. I had a. Somebody not long ago and this, this gentleman was, he was talking to me about what I believe and he was trying to chastise me because my decisions and my course of discussing things. [00:40:15] He says, well, you need everything come out of your mouth has to do with the Bible. [00:40:20] I said, well, everybody has to have something to base what they think truth is on. [00:40:27] You know, if I was someone who believed in socialism, then my truth would be based on Karl Marx manifesto and that is, you know, a social type of government, every other kind of thing. So everything that we believe has to be based on something. [00:40:42] And I believe that the Bible is the only source of true judgment. And so, and if you're with me this long, you probably think so too. [00:40:52] And at least we should find out what God said about it before we come to a conclusion. And that's what we're trying to do here. So God knows this is for the bad that man can, is deciding to do so he has to stop it. Even in the time that, that we live in now that judgment has to be made. We have to come to conclusion that what we are doing is wrong. God confounded these people's languages because it's essential a common language to form a world government. [00:41:24] So which is what these people were trying to do up until this time, these people spoke the same language. And we all have been in a situation to where we see the difference in this also now for maybe 10 years or so. [00:41:44] I believe that Kofi Annan was the Secretary General of the United nations at that time when they decided that English would be the common language of the world. [00:41:55] So you wouldn't be able to be an international police officer in the Interpol without speaking English. You couldn't fly, be a pilot, or work on a international flight without speaking English. You couldn't be an international operator without speaking English. And so now that has been adopted as the world's language. So we will on our way to getting back to what the common language is so that we can establish a global world, if you will. [00:42:28] So the world is now established English as the world's official language. So we know now that that's, that's where we are. [00:42:38] And so we're well on our way to getting back to, to approaching a time where nothing will be restrained from us as a world. [00:42:56] And so that's an amazing thing right there. [00:43:01] And that brings us to a stopping point here. [00:43:05] And remember, our midweek study is a continuation and the way we do these things, we kind of flow and give you something to think about between lessons. So every week we'll bring you in.
