[00:00:40] Hello everyone, and welcome to an amazing thing. This is our early week show where we deal with Bible prophecy. Current events, things happening around the world. Let us know where we are in God's prophetic time clock.
[00:00:52] Today we're continuing our series From Here to Eternity. This is our third lesson. And the lesson today is the confirmation of the covenant.
[00:01:03] And we're going to go back to our chart to continue to remind us where we are and the things that are just ahead of us. We're on number six now.
[00:01:14] You know, where we are is number four.
[00:01:17] We have last week's lesson, which was number five, the war of a third.
[00:01:23] The next event is the confirmation of the covenant. And so we're going to go ahead and talk about that today.
[00:01:32] And so this is the one prophecy that's in the Bible that has a date on it that we can acknowledge where we are for sure when this thing comes to pass.
[00:01:44] And we know that Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour. And that is something that comes up whenever we cover things like this that deal with where we are and knowing that the times.
[00:01:58] But he said that to those people present tense. He didn't mean that no one would ever know because there's too many prophecies that, like this one, that gives us a timestamp to where we can know where we are.
[00:02:11] And so that's where we're going to begin. Today we've produced another lesson that deals with the same subject matter.
[00:02:19] Uh, it's entitled Give Me Time, One Week of years. And that deals with the whole prophecy of the, the, the prophecy that was given to Daniel in its entirety, that deal with 490 years. We're gonna talk today from a certain point in that 490 year period and we can know for sure here.
[00:02:46] Okay, the confirmation of the covenant. When we say that, you know people, a lot of people never heard of that before, what covenant are we dealing with?
[00:02:58] Well, God made a covenant with Abraham.
[00:03:01] Now, when he made the covenant, he had not changed Abraham's name from Abram to Abraham because Abraham had no children at this time.
[00:03:10] But it's found in Genesis 15:18, and it reads this way, in the same day, the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, unto thy seed, I have given this land from the river of Egypt to the great River Euphrates.
[00:03:28] So this is the first time that God is making this covenant with Abram. And we know also that God made the covenant with Isaac and also with Jacob.
[00:03:40] Abraham had made a sacrifice unto the Lord and the Lord came down and walked through the pieces of the sacrifice and promised that the land that Abraham was standing on would belong to him and his seed forever.
[00:03:58] And so this is something that God repeated with Isaac and with Jacob, as we said before.
[00:04:04] And so this was not something that's going to come down through Ishmael. You know, we know Ishmael is the seed of Abraham.
[00:04:11] But God was dealing with a specific lineage when he made that promise. And so he was dealing with the lineage down through Isaac and through Jacob. And therefore this is the prominent covenant that is discussed even today. We talk about, when we talk about the two state solution that they're discussing in the news even as we speak.
[00:04:35] It's dealing with Israel's right to a homeland as well as the Palestinians right to a homeland as determined by the world.
[00:04:48] We know that God made this Covenant with Abram 4,000 years ago.
[00:04:53] And it's still the prominent covenant that we're dealing with today that's going to deal with this time clock here.
[00:05:00] The scripture deals with the confirmation of Abraham's covenant found in Daniel, chapter 9, verses 24 through 27. It's that same covenant that they're discussing even then.
[00:05:12] That's this covenant states that there's 490 years determined on the Jewish people that were given to Daniel. And God made this, this statement to Daniel. Now we know from the time the prophecy was given to Daniel is 483 years of the prophecy from our vantage point has been concluded.
[00:05:35] And so verse 27 of the prophecy begins with the subject matter that we're talking about today, which is the confirmation of the covenant. And that's what we're talking about. I'm going to read this. This is Daniel 9:27.
[00:05:51] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. That's a one week, seven years of weeks period. So it's a seven year prophecy. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.
[00:06:08] And for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation.
[00:06:15] And that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Now this is now from our vantage point 2,500 years ago that God affirmed this prophecy, that is he's given to Daniel. Now let's stop and explain the significance of Prophecy. And now in Amos chapter three, verse seven, it tells us this. Surely the Lord will do nothing but he reveal his secret unto his saints, the prophets.
[00:06:46] Well, we know that God is revealing this to his. His prophet is 2500 years ago.
[00:06:52] And the fulfillment of this prophecy is just ahead of us now. But surely it will come to pass.
[00:06:59] All of God's word surely comes to pass. Okay, we're going to cover the different aspects of this portion of the covenant.
[00:07:09] The he in the scripture refers to the Antichrist.
[00:07:14] And other scriptures that we'll cover in the future will let us know that, we'll confirm that. But we have a long way to go before we get to the end of eternity. And some of those that the subject matter, some of the lessons just ahead of us are those things that let us know who this is. But for now we'll just, we'll go along to know that the he is the Antichrist and so he's going to confirm the covenant with many.
[00:07:41] We all know more about this in those studies. But to confirm a covenant or confirm a document would be to, to agree with or to, you know, confirm the statutes of something.
[00:08:01] And that is what this is referring to here.
[00:08:05] This scripture denotes that many people will be involved because the document would be confirmed and agreed upon with many.
[00:08:13] And this time frame of the agreement would be for one week, a seven year period.
[00:08:19] So some of the aspects of this agreement would have to come into question because it's a seven year agreement. Well, if it was something that they agreed on, every aspect of it, why seven years? Why not just make an agreement?
[00:08:37] And so we know that there's some aspect of it that is yet to be determined with this.
[00:08:42] Some of the aspects of the agreement would have to, to be in question for this to be the truth. And so we'll know what that is as we go through this study of from now to eternity. And also when we get to some of the things that confirm what's going to happen when those things start to happen in the lesson we are, we'll point those things out again so that we can surely know and understand.
[00:09:12] We know that this agreement is going to be confirmed by the world.
[00:09:16] We know the UN Security Council, United nations, which is everybody in most of the of the world. And the scriptures suggest that we will know who we, that we won't know who the he is. It says he will confirm it with many, but there is a later event that confirms who the he is.
[00:09:37] And so we have to get into the agreement according to the word of God before we know who that is. So that lets us know that it's going to be a whole lot of people who agrees with this. But we won't know who the he which is the Antichrist is. At first. He'll be in a group of people.
[00:09:55] And so we will later find out who that was in the event that lets us know that God says this is the identification of that man of sin, the Antichrist. So when we get to that event, we will be able to identify this person.
[00:10:11] Absolutely, because he's going to come out of the crowd and stand alone to do some of the things that has to do with this prophecy here.
[00:10:21] We do know that the major, the majority of the people involved in this agreement will proceed with the agreement with some aspect yet to be confirmed, like we said before, so and agreed upon it in the end of the seven years, whatever the aspect that is agreed on that they can't right nail out at the beginning of. And they said we'll deal with this as a little date. Israel is never going to agree with that because we know there's a battle at the end of these things. As we approach eternity will know that that is why the battle of Armageddon, that's a future lesson, is being fought, because they won't do it. And so we'll get to that. That makes even our study here at the point that we're studying at this point, very, very exciting to look forward. These things are just ahead of us now. There's a ways to go to get here, but when we get there, it's going to be an amazing, an amazing time in history.
[00:11:22] And so we know that Israel will refuse to comply with this.
[00:11:27] And like I said, we'll cover more of that. But that will be the reason that the battle of Armageddon will be fought, because Israel won't do it. And so we'll start here. Okay, let's cover all the aspects of what we know the agreement will cover and why when the government is confirmed, it will acknowledge Israel's right to exist in the Holy Land.
[00:11:49] It will also acknowledge a Palestinian state. So the result of this will be a two state solution. We're hearing quite a bit of about a two state solution in our news today. Even as we speak here, even at the time of this recording, we just had some major countries in Europe, the uk, Canada, Australia, confirm a Palestinian state.
[00:12:17] And so that's something that's never been done before. But we see these people doing them now. And so we also know that that's one of the parameters of the arid Arab nations who signed on to the Abraham Accords. Now we know the Abraham Accords was not the confirmation of the Covenant, but that was a precursor to the confirmation of the Covenant. And one of the things that they agreed upon in that agreement was that every people should have the opportunity to worship on the Temple Mount. Now here's the key point.
[00:12:54] In a manner that equates with their religious beliefs, that's a key. And they all agree that we should have the right to do that. And that's going to become a prominent part of the confirmation of the covenant when that happens. So that being said, Israel will have to build their third temple because they can't worship without a third temple. And so that is what's going to open the door to them, the building of the third temple.
[00:13:21] And the scripture says they're certainly going to be one. So in order for Israel to worship on the Temple Mount, though in a manner that is the way they do it, there will have to be a temple built. So we know that that's going to be a part of the agreement. And also the scriptures tell us it's going to be a part of the agreement. This is Revelation, chapter 11, verses 1 and 2. Now this is John.
[00:13:46] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod for our understanding, a yardstick on something that you can use to measure, tape measure.
[00:13:56] And the angel stood saying, rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and them that worship therein. Verse number two. But the court which is without the temple, leave out, measure it not, for it is given to the Gentiles and the holy city shall they tread underfoot 40 and two months. So this prophecy gives us the duration of the great tribulation which is the second half, the final half of the final seven years.
[00:14:28] If the second half of the final seven years is 42 months, we know the beginning half of the final seven years is forty two months. And that also goes with what we know, and we read at the beginning of this lesson that he would confirm a covenant with many for seven years. So we know 42 months. And 42 months equals seven years here. And so also let the temple mouth be shared. And that refers to the Gentiles treading under the foot of the temple.
[00:14:57] And we know there are two Muslims shrines on the Temple Mount right now, and they will stand there through the duration of this time. So that was one of the concerns of the Islamic nations that Israel would want to do away with the Al Aqs mosque and the Dome of The rock. Well, this tells us that they won't do it. They're going to be able to worship in a manner that is conducive to their religion like everybody else. And when the Bible refers to a gentile, it just simply means a non Jewish person is what it's referring to.
[00:15:32] They will have to have a, a peacekeeping force. You know, you get, that's 40 acres up there, you get Jews and, and Muslims there as well as other people worshiping in a manner that they want to worship on the Temple Mount. There's going to be some tension there. Well, they're going to put United nations troops up there as peacekeepers so that they can abort any kind of trouble that may break out. And so that is when the Bible says it's going to be tread underfoot by the Gentiles and whatnot, measure the temple and the people who worship. But the outside is going to be trodden down by all different races of folks. And so Israel will return to the Temple Mount. We know that from Scripture. So we know that Israel is having, having access to the Temple Moun building their third temple, which is a part of this agreement.
[00:16:25] We require them to return to the Temple Mount in a, on, in an undefiled state.
[00:16:35] We know that this means they'll have to be cleansed from contact with a dead body. And a lot of times when we say things like contact with a lit dead body, that sounds strange.
[00:16:46] But let's break this down. Just say if you were someone who worked in the emergency room at a hospital.
[00:16:52] Well, in any major city throughout the world, there's probably somebody going to die in the emergency room every day if it's a, it's a major sized city. So that would be an aspect of being defiled with a dead body. Just say if someone was in the house when one of their grandparents passed away, that would be one of those things. Or if someone was in the mall and someone had a heart attack and died. And so that is contact with a dead body or contact with death or being walking through a cemetery or even being somewhere where somebody died. You didn't realize it until you had defiled yourself there. So numbers 19 tells us what the cleansing from this decide this defiled state is, which is mingling with water at the ashes of a red heifer of the third year.
[00:17:46] There's been thousands of years since Israel had a, had a red heifer.
[00:17:51] Now over the last few years they have had them, they have one now. And you got to think if the red heifer that they have is kosher. That means it doesn't have more than one different color hair out of one follicle kind of thing. Well, when it gets to be the third year, you'd have to go ahead and sacrifice that animal or it's going to be four years and five years. So it won't be one fit what numbers 19 tells them to do.
[00:18:20] So they've had, we know they've had several of them. They probably already sacrificed and they're keeping the ashes somewhere.
[00:18:26] And so now they know they have ashes that can purify all of Israel.
[00:18:33] And so also they've sacrificed it. They've sacrificed other heifers of the same age and similar size, burned it to get the ashes to determine how many people can be cleansed with the amount of ashes they would get from a red heifer of the third year.
[00:18:55] And so they, they know what that is.
[00:19:00] And, and so now they know they have enough. And even if they didn't, they have other red heifers that are qualified and they will actually be used in the future. But they do have enough right now.
[00:19:15] The scripture tells us that the temple might be trotting down the Gentiles like we said before. There'll be a UN peacekeeping force with all the different religious groups having access the Temple Mount. They'll have to have that Israel will rebuild the temple. We know that they already have the implements we had for the sacrifice. They have the altar, the laver, the altar of incense, the table shoe bread, the candelabra. They even have the Ark of the Covenant. And if you'd like to see those things, they are magnificent to look at. You can go to the temple institute.com and there you can maneuver through their website and you'd be able to see all those implements. And they are fantastic to look at. And so they are ready for that.
[00:20:03] Most people believe that they already have a temple that's been prefab somewhere. And we know that the first temple was prefab because Solomon didn't want a hammering on the Temple mountain. All the noise with the, with what they were doing. So they cut all those things and they were hewn so perfectly that they fit together so perfectly until it was amazing.
[00:20:25] It was amazing. The Palestinians would be given the error in the Bible called Judea Samaria, which is commonly called today the west bank or the occupied Territories, what they call it, but the Bible calls it Judea Samaria.
[00:20:38] We know that there are Jewish settlers out there in the settlements, that there are different settlements throughout Judea Samaria or the West Bank. And I mean, it's probably a million people out there by now.
[00:20:52] The Jewish settlers that live in this. In this area, they don't want to move. Now, they have offered to buy those houses and their lands in their business from them even before the agreement is struck. So that's going to be a part of the agreement that if you want to move away from being out there in the territory that is going to belong to the Palestinians, will buy your business and your homes and things. Now, if you want to stay out there, you can, but you'll be living out there under a Palestinian Authority.
[00:21:27] And so I'm sure they'll make these people believe that they'll be safe.
[00:21:32] And the settlers believe that this is the area that God brought us back into. So we need to stay here and occupy the land.
[00:21:40] So we know that there's a lot of people who are going to take a deal like that, whatever that deal turns out to be in a final solution.
[00:21:51] Some of those people are going to take that deal. How do we know that? Because Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24, and he warned the settlers who remained in this territory of Judea and Samaria under Palestinian rule that when they see a certain event which is coming up on our. In our, our chart, a future lesson that's not gonna be long for now, when you see that event, you don't have time to do anything but run.
[00:22:19] And so why? Because that's gonna begin the Great Tribulation, and they're gonna be slaughtered out there by the Palestinians and probably an aspect of Hamas and Hezbollah. Even though they. By the time we come through the present conflicts, they'll feel like we've done away with Hamas, now we finally have done away with the. With these groups, but not really, because Jesus prophesied that this was going to happen in Matthew 24, and if there weren't any Jews out there, there would be no need for him to give this warning.
[00:22:53] And it says this is the place where the Great Tribulation will begin. Such as never have been before, no nor ever again shall be. Now, we know there has been many wars down through Israel history, history fought there.
[00:23:06] But this has to be such a great number of those people who are slaughtered for it to fit in the category. Never before, no nigh ever again shall be. So hundreds of thousands of people being killed by them out there in this upcoming event.
[00:23:23] And so.
[00:23:24] And we'll. We'll show this event prominently in an upcoming show because it's such a tremendous event.
[00:23:32] But for the sake of this lesson, we'll, we'll go on. The Jewish settlers will be in the area of Judea. Samaria in the west bank would be allowed to stay. And they'll choose quite a lot of them to stay out there. And they are going to be the victims that Jesus spoke about. Now they don't know that this is what's going to befall them because this is a New Testament scripture and the Jews don't believe in the New Testament. So they won't know before the event happens that Jesus said that. But after the events happen and some of those people make it to safety, they'll later find out that Jesus was the one who warned them. And I think that would probably change a lot of their minds on who Jesus really was.
[00:24:17] And so it's going to be an amazing thing there.
[00:24:20] Let's move on.
[00:24:22] We know Jerusalem will remain Israel's undivided capital, even though a part of the agreement, and it may be the part of the agreement that after seven years we'll have to address was the undivided capital of Jerusalem. Let's read it. This is Zechariah 14:2.
[00:24:41] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle.
[00:24:47] And the city shall be taken, the houses rifled and the women ravished, and half the city will go forth into captivity.
[00:24:56] The residue of the people should not be cut off from the city.
[00:25:00] So the invading armies at the Battle of Armageddon will begin in Megiddo and come down through the plain of, of Megiddo, go down through the valley Jezreel and they will take half of the city from Israel. Well, if Israel remains in the other half, that means Israel had the whole thing all the way through the final seven years.
[00:25:23] So and that's probably the reason that the United nations army is coming down to drive Israel out to give part of that city away. But Israel's never going to do it. And so the Palestinians insist that East Jerusalem has to be their capital.
[00:25:42] And Israel is never going to agree to that because of the. What we saw on.
[00:25:48] Well, one of the reasons is what we saw on October 7th. Well, we saw what's happened and there was quite a little bit of a buffer between them.
[00:25:57] But if I only get one block between me and the Palestinians and the Jews, there's bound to be something that would cause Israel hesitants to go along with that. And they're never going to do it.
[00:26:12] The world will confirm that Israel has a right to a homeland in present day Israel. And so they're going to confirm that now it's not going to be to the borders that God confirmed to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but they will confirm that you have a right to be here. And so that is what the confirmation mainly is going to cover. Even though God covered more than that in the original promise, it's not going to matter. It's going to still be that that portion of the land and the Antichrist will be a part of the large gathering of the people that confirm the covenant to Israel's right to a homeland. He's going to be, like we said before, he's going to be in the midst of these people and so he's going to agree that they need this.
[00:26:59] And that's going to be the basis of, of what the agreement is about.
[00:27:05] This gathering of people will also confirm that the Palestinians have a right to a homeland in the west bank or Judea.
[00:27:13] And this will be their two state solution. And so like we say, that's in the news almost every day for so long. And it will be until this confirmation happens, the Israeli settlers located in Judea, Samaria and West bank will be allowed to stay if they choose to. Their property rights and business rights will be respected like we said before.
[00:27:36] So they're going to agree to it.
[00:27:39] And so that's what's going to leave those people out there.
[00:27:44] The temple amount would be placed under a sham arrangement for all people in the manner in which they worship. I've said that several times because that's such a key to what's going to happen here in the manner of which they worship. In our next lesson in this series will deal with just that fact.
[00:28:06] So that is what's going to allow Israel to build that temple. So, and once the temple is built, Israel is going to begin animal sacrifices again, which is required of them. When there was temple standing in the Old Testament, that was a requirement. So when they get this temple back, that will still be a requirement because they still are waiting for their Messiah. And so they don't know that God no longer deals and dwells in temples made with hands.
[00:28:38] So that peacekeep peeping force, as we said before, will be provided that will allow all the people of the world, the world's religions, to worship there under that peacekeeping force. So now these things will seem to work for a while and the people will look and say, oh my God, we finally got peace that we've desired so long. And, and we thought we knew that it would happen once we got a leader of the world who, who knew what to do. And all Those kinds of things.
[00:29:09] But it's going to get to a point where it's not going to work.
[00:29:12] And that's just ahead of us as well. So in all these things we're talking about here, you know, a lot of times we, people look so far ahead is 100, 200 years from now and is not that far away because we on the vert, we're talking about it now. And if they would come up with a confirmation of the covenant, then that starts the time clock of the final seven years to the battle of Armageddon, the return of Jesus Christ. So it's not that far away.
[00:29:40] And so that's what, that's what this is saying here. It's almost important that, that we understand this because that is getting very, very close to the battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ.
[00:29:57] We know that like I said before, we know that God no longer dwells in temples made with hands. But the Jews don't believe that the Messiah has come. So they doing what they think they should do. And you know, in the beginning of this lesson we talked about several things that we run into when we teach lessons like this.
[00:30:18] Well, we don't need a temple. Well, we don't, but there's going to be one nonetheless. And the Jews feel like they need a temple. And so these things are going to, to come to pass in a very, very short order here.
[00:30:34] And so this is our lesson in our series. This is the third lesson from now to eternity.
[00:30:41] And so we'll continue this series in our early week show. So our early week show is our, is our show in the beginning of the week. We know we have a midweek show that's a continual Bible study and our question and answer at our end of the week show.
[00:30:55] And so this is number six and I'm going to give you a preview of the, the lessons that are just ahead.
[00:31:03] The number six is what we're studying today. That's the Confirmation of covenant. Uh, our next lesson, number seven is going to be the, the third temple built on the Temple Mount and all the aspects that go along with that. And then we'll approach the midway point, which is number eight. And that's the abomination desolation, which was a part of the things that we discussed in this lesson. There's going to be a war in heaven. Two witnesses will start to their ministry, and the great tribulation will begin.
[00:31:34] And so that is where we are.
[00:31:38] And this is going to be quite an exciting series here. It's already exciting. And so we're going along with this now.
[00:31:45] We're not trying to make the lessons too long because we want you to grasp every aspect of what these lessons are about, what's just ahead of us and understand and even going through this series, we're going to have to as we get close to these things, there will be something significant that happens in the news that has to do with the things on this chart and we'll be able to stop and cover those things. But you have to understand where we are in time, what's just ahead of us, what has already happened that may not have been covered by many so that you can understand not that rich and an amazing thing understands, but that you understand.
